*Aang POV*

I'm done. I can't DO it anymore. The exhaustion has made everything muddled and confusing. I thought I could make it through the day, but then the stupid-ass teacher decided to say we just need to "reduce stress". HOW THE FUCK DO I DO THAT?! I don't know why I laughed. Nothing makes sense and it was the first sound I made. How do people handle this much stress? Toph is talking to Mr. Iroh and I'm just hyperfixating on this random spot on the wall. Nothing else makes sense, but this kinda does. All of a sudden I get dragged into the office.
"Stop dragging me around," I say sleepily. Ugh. Why is talking really difficult right now? She throws me into the desk and leaves. I grab one of those plastic chairs that all principals have. Iroh is just staring at me. Why? Then I realize that Toph got rid of the concealer. Fuck.
"Are you okay?" Are you serious? I glare at him. "Right. That was a stupid question,"
"Uh-huh," it's the only thing I can get out.
"I'm very sorry they kept sending you those books. If I'd known, I would've stopped them sooner," What're we talking about again?
"I don't understand," Maybe if I wasn't exhausted it would make more sense.
"The law books? Those weren't supposed to be a normal thing. I'm very sorry," Oh, right that. Can someone explain the relevance? Is it because they're the main reason I'm this tired? I don't even know at this point. I just nod. "You should get some rest. You look exhausted. Would you like some tea before you go?" Why would I want tea? I stand up but the world starts spinning. I sit back down. "I'll call my nephew to help you get back to your dorm. You're excused for the rest of the day,"

*Zuko POV*

Uncle had called my cell, and I picked it up immediately, knowing if he was calling in the middle of class it had to be important. We have a work period at least.
"Uncle? What's going on?" I say quietly once I pick up the phone.
"Can you bring your friend to the dorm? He is very close to passing out, and I am honestly surprised he isn't asleep already," Iroh explained.
"Sure thing uncle," I hang up and shoot my hand in the air, asking if I can leave. The teacher says yes. Once I walk into the hall, I take off running. Aang had apparently finally ran himself into the ground. My footsteps echoing around me is kinda surreal. I turn into the office, waving to Lo and Li before opening the door to Uncle's office. Aang is gazing off into space and Uncle Iroh had a phone up to his ear. I tapped on Aang's head, startling him awake back to reality. Grabbing his hand, I help him to his feet.

The walk back is silent. Aang is obviously too tired to have any response, and I'm just awkward. I open the door of the room, and walk Aang over to my bed, lie him down, and throw his blanket over him after grabbing it from his bunk. He's completely out. The bell rings, indicating that next period would be starting. I left Aang and ran off to my next class.

A/N guess who's back, back again. I dunno, just felt like revisiting this. I'll be filling out some missing plot points after I finish this part! I might switch it to third person POV, but no guarantees.
