*Toph POV*

A/N this will just be fluff with Suki, Toph and Ty Lee. It'll be a shorter chapter because we're starting to get closer to my planned stuff.

Suki, Ty Lee and I decided that today would be a great day for a date. Aang is going on one. Why can't we? It'll be our first date together. I went on a date with this guy Haru one time, but I hated it. He wasn't a bad guy, I just wasn't feeling it. The bell jingles as I open the door of the little cafe.
"It's so cute here!" Ty Lee says. I blush.
"I thought you would like it," I say.
"How'd you know?"
"I got the waiter to describe it to me," I blush harder.
"Toph! That's so sweet," Suki says. Now I'm even redder. Ack.
"Can I help you, girls?" The waitress says.
"Yes, can we get a table for three?" Ty Lee asks sweetly. I would normally think it was sickly, but I'm loving it right now.
"Sure thing," Once we sit down, she brings menus.
"Can I get a braille one please?" I ask.
"I'll be right back," She runs off. I found a cute cafe that didn't have too many regulars. I didn't want Ty Lee and Suki to be uncomfortable. People are fairly accepting of gay people in Ba Sing Se, but polyamory is a little in the "that's wrong" territory still.
"We should share a milkshake," Ty Lee says.
"People do that on dates all the time," Suki says.
"I don't see why not. I've never heard of that, but I don't listen to descriptive video TV,"
"It looks like fun. I've never done it because I've only ever been with cover boyfriends,"
"That sounds awful. Sokka and I did it once, but that was just before we broke up,"
"You did Sokka dirty," I say, trying to find a milkshake flavour I like.
"Yeah, I feel really bad about it. But Sokka got over it quickly. He's happy with Zuko,"
"You dated Zuko's boyfriend?" Ty Lee asks.
"Yeah, I did," This conversation is getting tense.
"How about the strawberry banana acai berry one?" I suggest. I just landed on it, but it doesn't sound terrible.
"That sounds great. Now we have to pick food," Ty Lee says.
"Let me find something," I search around. Reading with your fingers takes awhile. I much prefer audiobooks.
"Okay. We should get turnovers," Suki says.
"Mmm. I love turnovers. Blackberry ones are the best," I say.
"Blackberry for Toph, raspberry for me. What kind do you want Ty Lee?" Suki looks up at her. Someone just walked in.
"Fuck, that's my cover boyfriend. Hide me," She says.
"Just act like we're gal pals," I say quickly.
"Gal pals!?" Ty Lee whisper shrieks.
"It was the most heteronormative thing I could think of!" I whisper yell back. The waitress comes back right then.
"Did you figure out what you want?"
"Not yet. Come back later please," I say in my formal voice. My parents' lessons come in handy sometimes. Brian or whatever his name is comes over.
"Ty Lee? What are you doing here?"
"Just hanging out with the gals!" Ty Lee says a bit too brightly.
"Oh, well, I was wondering if you'd like to go out after school tomorrow,"
"Of course! I would love to. See you tomorrow," She keeps the smile on until he leaves.
"Do you even know his name?" I ask when he's gone.
"Nope. He's a cover. I don't need to know,"
"That seems a little mean,"
"The dude told me that I'm his cover too. He only did that because his dad is coming to Ba Sing Se tomorrow,"
"Oh, so it's mutual," Suki says seductively. Eck.
"Yes, it is," Ty Lee replies even more seductively. I stand up abruptly.
"I have to go to the bathroom!" I say.

I know we made a deal. But it's just so weird and wrong for me. I'm a sex-repulsed ace. They can do what they like, I'd just prefer if they didn't do it in front of me. I'm not going to ask that, but I will take breaks. Nebula's told me that they're sex neutral. No one knows with Aang because he's got himself so deeply closeted. I'm pretty sure it's because his beliefs have something against it. Or he's just been in environments that told him that it's just a phase. But I've been in gym class with him. It doesn't take a genius to know that the guys talking about sex makes him uncomfortable. I take a deep breath. Time to get back out there.

I sit back down and notice that there's a milkshake there already. They started it without me. I can't help but feel like I'm third-wheeling. I take a bite out of my turnover. I don't want the milkshake anymore. My stomach is really disagreeable right now. I hope we can get back to the dorms soon.

A/N I lied. There was some angst. Only a little. FNaF music plus my plans make everything a little angstier.
