*Katara POV*

Sokka is a pain in the ass when it comes to healing him. I learned how while we were still back home. He'd decided to be a prick all week. He's just as much of one now, but I'm not going to complain because he almost burned to death, crash-landed and has been walking on a broken ankle for days. Luckily, I'm done with him. I send him to go get Aang. Those two have a shit ton of work to do. I saw Aang's work package. It's more work than I tend to get in a month. Aang's used to the stress, but he hasn't slept properly in ages. Here he is now. The bags under his eyes are way too noticeable.
"Hi, Katara," He says when he walks in.
"Oh, thank Oma and Shu. I much prefer Twinkle Toes to Captain Boomerang," Toph says.
"That's my brother you're talking about Toph," I say.
"Then you can agree with me,"
"Actually I can. Sit down Aang," I reply. Aang does as he's told. I unwrap the sling and slowly bring his arm towards me. He winces but doesn't say anything. Oh, that is a bad break and he's been using his arm. Ow. I swirl the water around his arm. The bones slide back into place. I hate healing broken bones. It just feels wrong. Especially bigger bones like arms and legs. Sokka's ankle wasn't horrible, but this isn't one break. It's multiple smaller ones. I can't imagine how it feels. He lets out an audible sigh as I continue healing it. Once I'm mostly done, I check around for other injuries. I stop when I reach his lungs. They are horrible.
"Uh, Katara, I think my arm is done," He laughs nervously.
"How long have your lungs been like this?" I ask. His eyes go wide.
"A few months. Why?"
"Aang, your lungs are horrible. How are you not in constant pain?"
"It can't be that bad. I can still breathe,"
"Maybe you can breathe, but every time you cough, you rip the gashes in your lungs wider. It's only a matter of time before you cough up blood," I snap at him. He goes pale.
"Hey, Sugar Queen, how about you heal him before you scare him to death," Toph says from across the room. That would be a good idea- Aang pulls away from me and backs over to the wall. He starts shaking violently.
"Aang! It's okay, I can heal them," I say. He doesn't seem to hear me. I run over to him and pin him down. I start healing my lungs, but he pushes me away. He looks like a scared animal. I know that feeling. When fear takes over, your instincts kick in and you forget what's happening. I grabbed his arm. "Take deep breaths. In for four, out for four," I tell him. He does as I say. Once he's done with his panic attack, I heal his lungs.
"I think I forgot what having normal lungs felt like," He chuckles.
"I don't think that's something you should be joking about," Nebula says flatly. Aang stares at them.
"Well, I guess I have to catch up on school and reading," He stands up. I would try to stop him, but I know he actually does have to catch up on that stuff.
"You wanna hang out this weekend?" I ask him.
"Uhh, if I have my schoolwork and book finished. It's not like On Ji can pull me away this time,"
"What happened with On Ji?" Nebula asks.
"Uhh, can Sokka explain it?" He backs away. Weird. I should get some sleep before school.

I wake up to someone knocking at the door. Nebula and Toph are fast asleep so I get it. Azula is sneezing into a handkerchief.
"Hi Zula," I say. She told us to call her that.
"Hi *achoo* Katara. Could you go with Zuko to Uncle's office? I'm not feeling so good," She says.
"Yeah, sure. You should take the day off school,"
"I can't *achoo* do that! I need to stay on top of it,"
"You sound like Aang. Take a day off,"
"I don't sound like him!"
"Yeah, you do. The only reason I don't get on his case is that he has to start his duties when he turns sixteen. You don't need to do anything right now," I push her back to her dorm. I'm literally playing with fire, but I don't have time for that.
"Right, that makes sense. Thanks, Kat," She says and then sneezes. Now to find Zuko.

I kick open the boys' door. Aang is sitting in his bed reading. He jumps when I come in.
"I need Zuko," I say. He points down. Right, Zuko gets the bottom bunk. I drag him out of the bed.
"What the heck? You aren't Azula," He rubs his eyes.
"No, she's sick and we have to talk to your uncle,"
"Fine. Wait, Azula is sick?"
"Yes. I had to order her to stay in bed,"
"Katara? What are you doing here?" Sokka sits up in bed.
"Dragging this idiot out of bed," I respond.
"New rule. You can only drag me out of bed," Sokka tells me.
"Oh, well. I thought you guys were gonna get married, so I figured I could do it to my brother-in-law," Zuko and Sokka exchange a look.
"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! GET OUT!" Sokka screams. I snicker and leave. Definitely worth it. Zuko walks out of the room flustered.
"Why did you do that?"
"To mess with him. It's what little sisters do,"
"So that's why Azula did it?"
"No, what Azula was doing before was fucking evil. Let's go," I grab his arm and drag him to the principal's office. I shove him inside and follow him.
"Hello," Iroh says.
"So, I'm taking Azula's place for the day since she's sick. We found them, they've healed up. You don't have to keep excusing them," I say. Iroh stares at me and looks at Zuko.
"Don't ask. Azula trusted her. That's what matters," He tells Iroh.
"Was that all?" Iroh asks.
"Yeah, I think so. Bye Mr. Iroh," I drag Zuko out of the office. He stares at me.
"Why are you like this?"
"Like what?" I feign innocence. Zuko looks baffled and I laugh.
"Little sisters are weird," He shakes his head.
"Nah, I'm the straight one in the group. I have to be weird in other ways,"
"Is being gay weird?"
"No, but people act like it is. I act like this to make you guys seem normal,"
"That- is actually genius,"
"I know. Wanna hang out in the caf before class?"
"Sure,"
