Lol skating is awesome so I wrote a shot where Peter is a skater.

So I have a lot of drafts at the moment that I'm just kind of posting when I feel like I should post, but I do have a question.

So. My Toys shot, yes? Should I turn it to a longer story? Maybe like 30 chapters or around that number? I might do it anyways, but I wanted some opinions before I do, so would any of you read it if I made it a story?

Also hiii it feels wierd posting right now and not on a weekend, but I wanted to ask that question and not have another a/n so this was my compromise, plus this has been in my drafts for a while now. So, tadaaaa!

You don't necessarily need to watch the video, but I would recommend it. Like highly recommend it, because a huge chunk of the story uses the video. Her routine starts around 3:30ish? Around there. Shout out to whoever her choreographer is, cause I love them😂

Peter sighed in content as he landed his simple lutz, gliding backwards across the ice. One simple move and he was skating forward again, heading to the gate. He stepped onto the mat, sliding his guards on before heading to the elevator, going up to the floor just below the penthouse. Not the penthouse exactly, he was going to take the steps up to the floor because the steps were closer to his room than the elevator was.

See, Peter was, against all belief, actually good at keeping secrets. The secret in question was that Peter loved figure skating. Loved it, the way it made him feel free, relaxed, helps him keep in touch with his emotions instead of being numb. He loved the graceful movements, the smell of the ice and the noises his skates made when he spun moved across the ice. He loved the simple yet complex rules of moving on the ice, like how moving your leg one way turns you in that direction, always, until you fall. And falling. Oh, Peter loved falling most of all. Not at competitions, of course, but during practice? Peter loved putting all he had into practice, falling and laughing when he hit the ice, laying on the cold surface as he went over what he did wrong before getting back up and doing it again and again, until he could perform the move with all the emotions he could muster and make it close to perfect. He just loved everything about the sport. Every. Single. Thing.

But he hadn’t told anyone about the fact that he skated. He hadn’t thought it would last for as long as it had, to be honest. I mean, the circumstances in which he was able to go to practice with an actual coach and do competitions was a little questionable, and not stable. He had been young, around ten years old, when he had found this beautiful rink hidden behind some buildings. It seemed abandoned, but the ice was smooth, and Peter had his own skates. They were a little small, but the blisters he would get made him feel accomplished and special. He didn’t get to feel that very often.

But, Parker Luck struck, and  Ten year old Peter found that the rink was very much not abandoned. He had just been skating one day, practicing a spin. Just a simple spin, except for the fact that he was doing it on one foot, which he had really only done twice before, and fallen both times. This time was no different, but while Peter lay on the ice, he knew what he had done wrong, the positionsing of his foot was all wrong, and he should have positioned it so it was a little more straight, and he needed to bend his knee a bit more. He smiled as he got up, starting to move across the oce again. He started making a circle, bending his knee so the circle got smaller, smaller, until he brought his hands and free leg to his left side, spinning. His spin slowed and he tried for a good exit, but fell instead. Peter didn’t care. He was elated! His spins usually died before they even started, but this one had lasted long enough for him to think about an exit! He laughed, not seeing the man that had come up behind him.
