Hi. This one is shorter (771 words) simply cause I didn't have the motivation to support the idea, but I tried, I promise. I think for the next few imma go off the list cause I like reading one shots where Peter has different illnesses. I don't actually have any illnesses, but I like that it represents different diseases while still being Peter, ya know what I mean? Just because I feel like there's a lot of things out there that people just don't get. And of course some of them will be more common/more heard of diseases (like ptsd or epilepsy). Anyways enjoy this one it gets cringy and sloppy towards the end sorry lol.

Peter looked down the barrel of a gun, taking deep, slow breaths.  He looked back at where the hostages were huddled in the corner, horrified. They knew what would happen. They weren't stupid. They all knew that the only way to escape from a room filled with people aiming guns are you was to accept that you would get shot at least once, and more was expected. No one huddled in the corner knew how their Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman would survive this.

Peter didn't know either.

Still, he knew that even if he died taking out the 23 men, it would be worth it. He couldn't just let all those 30 hostages in the corner die! He had to save them by any means necessary.

Peter took a final deep breath before jumping into action.

He snapped out a hand, grabbing the closest gun to him and bent it towards the roof before spinning it out of the mans hand and knocking him unconscious. Then he lept over a few people and webbed guns out of their hands as he went before webbing them to the floor. He never heard the gun fire, but he certainly felt it when it hit his leg. He ignored the seeing pain and the hot blood leaking down his thigh and threw a punch to the person next to him, sending the man flying into another 3 men, before webbing them all to the wall. The second bullet hit him in the stomach, and Peter doubled over in pain for a moment. But he quickly pushed it off and kept on with his attack.

While taking down the last 15 men, he ran out of web fluid, and had to resort to punching them, hopefully hard enough to keep them knocked out but not hard enough to kill them or cause brain damage. He was also shot 5 more times, 2 more in his stomach, once in his arm, and once in his leg. He knew the one in his leg and arm had hit an artery when he looked down and there was just so much blood. It was everywhere, streaming out so rapidly that there was a pool under him no matter how fast he changed positions.

And when the last man was webbed up, the hostages watched as Spiderman fell to the ground and didn't get up.

One of the hostages walked slowly up to the hero, bending down to a crouch before taking a deep breath and slowly taking off the mask to reveal one Peter Parker, eyes glazed over and unseeing. The man had gasped, horrified. This was a child! He couldn't be older than 18! And he had willingly sacrificed his life for 30 people who had already accepted that they were to die, and some would rather have died than their Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman.

The news spread fast. Spiderman was a teenager. And Spiderman was dead.

May died from heartbreak 3 days after Peter died. She had always told him, "be safe, and if there is a situation that you don't think you can walk away from, call Tony. He will at least be there to provide medical help if you get hurt." Just that day she had said that when Peter had come running out of his room in his suit to giver her a kiss and tell her that he needed to go, there was a really bad hostage situation. He said he was looking forward to coming home that night and eating pizza while watching cheesy Hallmark movies with her.

Ned and MJ had been at home with May when they received the news. May had brought them over to surprise Peter. She knew he had been stressed lately and thought that maybe if he came home to friends and pizza and movies, he would actually take time to relax. Everyone's faces fell when Tony had walked in the door instead of Peter, the mans face covered in tears and tear tracks. May had screamed when she heard. Ned had stood in shock, not believing that his friend, his best, strong, Spiderman friend, was dead. MJ had let tears fall down her face silently while she coaxed May onto the couch and comforted Ned when he realized that this wasn't just some sick joke.

No one, at the tower or in Ned and MJs houses, ever ate pizza or watched cheesy Hallmark movies without crying. They actually tried to avoid eating pizza, with all the memories that would come up. They did, however, get together once a month and have a Star Wars marathon. Popcorn and soda and tears. But slowly they all realized that Peter would always be with them.

And after two years, everyone got together and watched a Hallmark movie.
