First off, how do you get 15 right, 0 wrong, and end up with a 99.7%? Cause I'd really like to know. Second off, no, this is not a me identity reveal. Never. Maybe someday. But most likely not. Third off, this was a request from buttermintchick. I'm so sorry it took so long, school was like a stick up my ass for the past few weeks and I litterally just polished it up and finished the last five paragraphs this morning. I can't guarantee its my best, but it's certainly better than my first try at it😂. I kinda took the idea and ran with it, and this is how it ended up (take 2, cause take 1 was absolute shit and I wouldn't do that to the people reading).

Not too esited, so pls point out mistakes! Thank you!

Peter Parker. Sixteen, with many accomplishments under his belt. One major one that he was pretty proud about was getting an internship with Tony Stark himself! Well, it didn’t start as that. It started as just Peter being a coffee delivery boy, until he managed to unwire a faulty machine before it exploded, getting the attention of one Tony Stark. Peter was invited to work with him in his personal lab, and who would say no? It's Tony freaking Stark asking you to work in his own private lab. You don’t say no to that.

Oh yeah, and he’s SpiderMan. He tended to shove that down the list of his accomplishments, but he figured that it was kinda cool? He didn’t know. There was a lot of good that came from it, but also a lot of bad.

No one really knew about him being SpiderMan. Minus Ned, of course, sense he had seen Peter in the suit by accident.

Peter had thought about telling people, Tony especially. Oh, his mind could run for hours on the tech that they could build for SpiderMan if Peter could just tell Tony. But he decided against it. He didn’t know how Tony would react. What if he completely flipped out? What if he told Peter he wasn’t good enough? Well, Peter told himself that enough, on the same side with the Daily Bugle, and he didn’t want to hear it from someone whose opinion he actually cared about. No, Peter didn’t need to tell anyone. Plus, he kind of liked being anonymous. That way, anyone could come up to him with anything and it wouldn’t make any difference when they saw him as Peter.

For example, someone could come to him as SpiderMan and ask for help with a dangerous situation, like abuse, and SpiderMan could help, and the person wouldn’t feel awkward knowing that SpiderMan was a person, specifically one nerd named Peter Parker. (I kinda like the idea that peter stays anonymous not just for the safety of people close to him but also so that people are comfy with talking to him ya know?)(i think there’s another fic like this out there too where Peter stays anonymous for that reason, but I don't remember the name or who wrote it)

Yet as much as he wanted to keep it a secret, he knew he couldn't for much longer.

See, Peter was dangling off the edge of a bridge, wrapped up in the metal beams that had held it up. Yes, wrapped up. You see, to make a long story short, there was a guy (who was bad, when are they not), and he had tried to bring the bridge down. Peter had gotten everyone off the bridge before he did that, but the guy had the audacity to grab him and tie him up with the beams. To say Peter was pissed would be an understatement.

And now he was stuck, dangling above the East River, trying to untangle the beams. He stopped pretty quickly, however, when he realized that even if he could undo the knot, he would fall right into the river. He may be SpiderMan, but he wasn’t immortal.
