Officially 19

Today is special, not one of those days

It's different, the sun knows, it rays

19 years ago, I was born into this world

I am forever and will be thankful for the Lord

I'm given eyes to see beauty

Beauty in the face of diversity

This paradise is magnificent

Every creation was indeed heaven-sent

Living here is a great experience

To see and understand life itself.

I am a human, I make mistakes

But despite what is at stake

I'm beyond grateful, to ride in this journey

Lots of lessons learned, all is truly worthy.

I am now officialy 19

A lot of years has been.

Never knew I could move mountains

I might have been guided by the heavens.

Struggles I did not know I'd pass

Troubles I've overcome at last.

I thought I was shallow and weak

But through the years, I sneek a peak

Of how strong I must have been gone

Endured all the pain that's been said and done.

Here I am, different from the person in the past

I've learned so much, something I couldn't cast.

So I'm grateful, for everyone who stood with me

Who's been there and seen the worst and lows of me.

You are so few and rare, I'll surely treasure forever.

Here's to continue chasing for genuine happiness.

Because it surely is a greater kind of success.
