Into Her Eyes

Into her eyes.

I was captivated by her eyes

She's smiling but her eyes tells otherwise

There was pain, sadness, and emptiness

So much more, I could not anymore recognize.

I couldn't take my eyes away from her

And there, She looked at me,

Like she's longing so much for help

I tried to reach her and help.

But, the walls she built

Were too much for me to break

She stared at me, with her eyes she said

"Stop! This is a part, you should not cross.

I am a mixture of fire and thorns,

Everyone who came, was pained and burned

Don't try coming, I know you'll only leave

When you finally get what you wanted."

My tears fall, at her eyes, I looked

How could this woman get through this pain alone

This world doesn't deserve such a genuine soul

So if only she takes my hand and let me in,

I'll promise to bring her to a place where she truly belong.
