NOT A POETRY, JUST A THOUGHT 💭
Please never tell someone (directly or indirectly) that they are who they are because of their grades, that they are mostly defined by the numbers that are written on their report cards. We don't know their struggles as well as the efforts they have invested just so they could survive. STOP PUTTING PRESSURES ON THEM but instead, start asking them how they have been. Start asking questions about how their days went by at school. That instead of drawing lines, making rules and putting standards on them on the amount of numbers or achievement they should accomplish and reach, teach them that DOING THEIR VERY BEST will always matter the most than their grades. Be with them every step of the way. Know every efforts they have invested, their hardships. Be with them during the process (or production) and that's when you will finally learn to ACCEPT and APPRECIATE THE RESULTS. Kay mostly, magtan-aw rata permi sa result sa mga studyante, "WOOW HONOR" pero diay to, sigeg cheat, "HALA GAMAYAG GRADO" pero diay to, grabe na niya nga paningkamot pero mao ra gyud iya maabot. I am not generalizing but I am only trying to make a point. I am a consistent honor student since elementary, it made me feel overwhelmed and I usually lost myself when I try to let it in my head. However, seeing and interacting with different kinds of people esp. students, I have come to realize that there are still so much to see than just the digits. I am an honor student because I worked hard for it but it doesn't also mean that those who did not manage to be recognized as one are lazy. I've come to observe some of my classmates who study so hard and yet, got low to passing scores. I want people to start realizing that they should not be seen as someone with low scores but as someone who did their very best. Hope you got my point and Please stop the stigma. Start enlightening your child.

PoetryI decided to just create a creative naration of what I'm feeling about someone or about what I feel towards the day. Not forcing you to read it but maybe you could relate 😊
