I made this just later today. I wasn't in the mood to write actually but I wanted to give an original poem for my Mom because it's her 55th Birthday today.
MOM
"Amidst the chaotic world
God presented a gift
It was the most beautiful gift
A person will ever received."
55 years ago
A beautiful soul was born
She's a blessing
Whoever might have her
I was then too busy
Thinking of how uneven
The world had become
I doubted change will yet to come
Growing up, I thought I wasn't enough
People cannot find reason to ever love
A person as imperfect as I am
However, I was wrong
One look at you
Those emptiness were gone
Your smiles made me whole
I never knew I could find
one greatest love of all
Your love ended my sorrow
My seeking stopped
Emptiness filled with contentment
Because there's a YOU who exist
God must have known
I needed someone like you
Unending challenges I face
Just a sight of you strengthen my whole self
You're an inspiration
Your words became my guidance
Your love filled those gaps
I've always been seeking to find
I will forever thank God
For giving me YOU in our lives
Everything would not be complete
Without you by our side
You are a pearl, placed deep down
Only my father; courages enough to dip
Captured a rare beauty, one could ever receive
And that was you MOM
Forever I will thank you
For the sacrifices and love I received
For the unending support and guidance you give
We may not be wealthy
But I will always be proud
Telling the whole world
How blessed I am
For having you as my MOM!
