The silence lasted for a while before I opened my mouth, "I — uh" but before I could get my sentence out Alex cut right in.

"How are you doing Su Yu?" his eyes staring right into mine, as if he's looking right through my soul.

I couldn't help but shrink a bit, and I managed to stutter out, "Uhh, I'm doing pretty well. School's going pretty well too, especially since we're gonna graduate this year. How is China for you?"

I looked at him with a bit of curiosity, while he stared at me emotionlessly. "I find the culture kind of interesting. I would like to explore a bit more of this place,"

He then took a sip of his coffee and continued to say calmly, "Mind taking me around for a tour, you know, let me experience some new things,"

I almost choked on my sandwich, but I took a big swallow, and quickly wiped the side of my mouth and said, "huh, what did you say?" while he stared at me the entire time, making me a bit uncomfortable.

"I said, do you mind taking me out to explore,"

"Uhh, sureeee. Is Alina gonna come with us?"

"No," he said really quickly will putting his coffee aside and gently wiping his lips. I couldn't help but notice his pink lips that looked just so 𝑠𝑜𝑓𝑡.

I shock my head, and replied back, "Why not? Aren't you guys always together?"

"We have our separate lives. Do you see her here with me right now?" he stated nonchalantly.

"WAIT, you mean you wanna go right now? Isn't that almost like a da—"  I blushed and stopped myself from finishing that sentence.

"Hmmm, what were you going to say?" he said with almost a bit of a smirk that would've gone unnoticed if I wasn't paying enough attention.  "Of course right now, you are free aren't you?  I am too."

"Oh, yeah I don't have anything planned today. I'll show you around town. We can grab milk tea for you to try if you'd like." I said shyly while twirling my fingers around each other.

His eyes followed my hands, and I put them back on my laps real quick. I looked back up at him and noticed a bit of a smirk again.

Why the heck is he smirking so much. Tsk. I think he's purposely trying to make me uncomfortable.

Being lost in thought, I didn't even notice when he paid the bills and grabbed my hand once again to leave. I just remember mindlessly following behind him.

He stopped abruptly and my face slammed on his back. He smelled of books with a bit of his natural masculine body oder. It's . . . surprisingly very nice I thought, while unconsciously taking another whiff.

He grabbed my shoulders and turned me around to face him. He smirked gently once again, but it was much more obvious this time. He said teasingly, "Oh, do I smell that nice? I thought you were gonna take me on a tour, why does it seem like the other way around huh?"

I was so embarrassed and I started blushing like crazy. I can feel myself turning into a tomato.

"What are you talking about? I was just a bit dizzy because of your abrupt stop." I said in a denying tone, while crossing my arms and pouting lightly.
