10: What the Hell Happened?

My head hurts like crazy right now, it's spinning.

I slowly opened my eyes and surrounding me are my mother, Ning Su Yu's mother, and Ning Su Yu. The doctor prompted me up on my bed, while everyone looked at me in worry.

I'm confused. Why is Ning Su Yu still alive? Didn't she get shot? I took another look at their face. And it hit me. Did I go back in time? I mean they look so young. So different.

But why am I here? Don't tell me drinking till I passed out took me here?

I tried to control my emotions and asked, "what happened?"

My mother sighed and Ning Su Yu looked down in shame. My mother opened her mouth and said, "Su Yu accidentally pushed you and you got a concussion, hitting the back of your head in the water fountain."

I didn't say anything and tried organizing my thoughts. Then I looked up and asked everyone to leave. But I said, "Su Yu, can I talk to you for a second?" as everyone shuffled their way out.

I was so happy that's she's alive. This is the best blessing that I could get, so I pulled her in for a hug.

"Su Yu, Su Yu. I missed you so much." I said as I took in her scent. The fresh smell of Gardenia filled my nostrils as my
muscles relaxed.

When I let go, all I saw was surprise in her eyes. And I think I know why.

She opened her mouth and said, "what did you say again."

I looked gently in her eyes, filled with reminiscence and love.

"I said. I missed you. I love you."

The shock in her eyes deepened, replaced with a glare as she said coldly, "Did you reincarnate as well?"

My mouth opened agape and I shocked.

"How— how did you know?"

"I too reincarnated." She said with a even colder smile.

"I could tell. Your gaze changed after waking up. You said you missed me, meaning you haven't seen me in a long time, of course, assuming it was because I died right? Thanks to you." She said with a cold sneer.
