*This is also not a chapter*

All of the races and classes included in this story are based off of D&D races/classes, so if you wish for a better understanding of the inspiration of my take on these, then you can find them in most D&D guides.

RACES
(These are how races are portrayed in this story, not in general D&D worlds and not typically in other works)

Humans

Humans are one of the main races in The OtherWorld. They own the outermost areas of land and they also tend to rule all big kingdoms in each outermost region. There are kingdoms of dwarves and other races in each region, but the power they hold in the region is typically much less than that of human kingdoms.

Elves

Elves are the second main race and they own all of the innermost lands, seeing as it tends to have the most forest land. Because the humans own the most land, the elves are in a power struggle for the OtherWorld. Because of this power struggle, there has been an age long feud between the two races and they cannot get along.

CLASSES

The classes that have been assigned to the TXT members were not assigned by me, but by the VR version concept photos of Minisode 1.

  Knight (Yeonjun)
The Knight is technically a Homebrew class which means it isn't a traditional D&D class. The Knight pledges their service to noble causes, religious orders, or the ruler of their kingdom.

Paladin (Yeonjun)
The Paladin is a Holy Knight and a divine spellcaster. They have a strict code of conduct and in the first version of the game, they were the embodiment of good and righteousness. The paladin can become the champion of any deity, meaning, their actions can be good or evil depending on the deity they fight for.

Druid (Beomgyu)
The Druid is the embodiment of nature. They wish to preserve balance. They can shape-shift into animals.

Mentalist (Beomgyu)
The Mentalist is another Homebrew class. They are the masters of the mind and can be seen as tricksters. They can use their powers to affect and control the minds of others.

Sorcerer (Taehyun)
The Sorcerer is the master of Arcane Magic, the most powerful type of magic. The ability isn't an acquired skill, but it can be something they are born with, something they were blessed with by a deity, or even something they got after drinking some strangely magical spring water. This is important to Taehyun's character.

Adventurer (Taehyun)
Another Homebrew class, the adventurer is a class that goes on adventures as a profession and will go on dangerous adventures to find treasure.

Ranger (Soobin)
The Ranger is a hunter that fights monsters that threaten the edges of civilization. They protect the Borderlands and often live as a hermit in the woods.

Archer (Soobin)
Yet another Homebrew class, the archer specializes in ranged combat rather than direct combat.

Bard (HueningKai)
The Bard is capable of both combat and magic. They can inspire enemies, manipulate minds, demoralize enemies, heal wounds, and create illusions. Bards are also very creative and tend to travel so their music can be heard or their creativity can be seen.

Mystic (HueningKai)
The Mystic is a very rare class and they prefer to keep their abilities a secret. They can control the physical world by bending it to their will. It is a powerful class.

Rogue (Y/N)
The Rogue is a class that relies on stealth, skill, and their foes vulnerabilities to get the upper hand. They are resourceful, versatile, and they are a master of many skills. They focus on stealth, deception, and cunning rather than brute strength. They can also learn magical tricks to supplement their abilities.

That should be all for the races and classes, and you should have a better idea of how everything works in this story. If it's confusing to you, I understand that. I've been trying to study and gather information for 6 hours already and I still feel uninformed. More things will be explained in the story, but I feel like for those who don't understand D&D classes like I didn't, this should be helpful. (Hopefully)
