Y/N passed out on Uraume's shoulder. She was very tired. Her body was aching and she was having a migraine from her crying. She cried so much and eventually got tired from it and passed out. Y/N was tired. She was exhausted from all the events that had just occurred. The moment she became happy, it was immediately taken away from her. She was now feeling apathetic. There was nothing she could do.

She listened to the chirping birds above them. They were having a nice peaceful life. If she were to be an animal, her life would be much easier. No pain and she could be free from all this madness. Y/N didn't understand why she was brought back. It's not like Sukuna needed her. She was just a useless mortal that's there for his entertainment. Y/N didn't want to go back to him, she was furious with Sukuna. But she wouldn't be able to fight him. She was too weak against him.

Why does everything have to be so hard? Uraume's footsteps were soft against the grass. He still had a firm grip of her preventing her from escaping. He would have assumed that she would be blinded by anger and thrash around his grip demanding to be unhanded, but she didn't. She accepted their deaths so quickly. She was smart in accepting what happened, it would have been bothersome if she didn't realise it.

Uraume couldn't understand her. It was like she had no opinion and followed the crowd. She was the kind of person that if you asked them something, they would do it with no questions asked. It's not like these kinds of people are bad, it's just they're a bit too easy to manipulate. But then again, mortals are extremely gullible and easy to handle. Humans like her are a bore.

He's never seen his Master with a woman like her, it was quite unbelievable. Uraume thought he would just have one night with her and throw her away, or maybe kill her. When Y/N ran away, Uraume thought that his Master would let her go, but he sent him to fetch her. Uraume was impressed at the distance that she ran, but it was annoying to track her down. He noticed she was passed out from the stress that she let out. He was delighted at the fact that she's knocked out, he didn't have to listen to her ugly crying anymore.

Thinking back to the village he destroyed, none of the humans put up a good fight. They were all so weak to go up against him. With such a small village, it was populated. Uraume would have expected to meet at least one decent human being, but all failed to satisfy him. Uraume thought back even more, to when he met a lonely mother on the outskirts of the village.

She ran away for some fresh air. Uraume contemplated on killing her, and he almost did. What stopped him was that disgusting scent that lingered on her. It was that stupid girl's scent, the one Sukuna wanted him to bring back to him. Uraume put on the most beautiful smile, a smile that everyone would be fooled by. He walked up to the pitiful woman and asked her what was wrong.

The woman was cautious at first, but told him the story of how her and her son got into a fight. Uraume wasn't the slightest bit interested in her story, he wanted to get straight to the point. He was looking for someone. The mother continued to weep, she continued to rant about her life and how her husband met. She was abused by her hometown for being poor and a scum, and from that, she was kicked out of her own people. Her parents died before she turned ten years old, she has been living on the streets for the majority of her life.

She went starving for days and finally fainted from malnourishment. A fair young man happened to find her and bring her back to his village where he nursed her. After staying with him for a while, they slowly fell in love and had a son. Her husband didn't live long. After the boy turned seven, he passed away from a heart attack while working in the fields. The woman was distraught that her husband was taken away from her.

Ever since then, it has been her and her son alone. The woman was desperate to have him married and live his own life. It was an overbearing story that Uraume didn't need to hear. He really wanted to end their conversation by just killing her, but he can't, not just yet. He needed her to lead him to that insolent woman. Y/N had some nerves to flee from the King of Curses, what an absolute disgrace.
