Y/N started with all the housework. She was keeping herself busy and making sure the house was much more to her liking. She was currently outside sweeping the long staircase. It seems that Sukuna did care much for the outside appearance of his temple. Who would even want to go inside? It had an unwelcoming aura and looked abandoned. Although the inside was well taken care of by Uraume, he didn't try to make it more homely.
There was a calming breeze that cooled her head. The top of the shrine was always so nice and airy, it felt like she could fly and be free, but she was far from that. She was a caged bird with the expression that she was free and could go off anywhere. What was truly Sukuna's plan with her. Will he keep her until her time is up? Or was there some other reason.
Her anger slightly died down from him, although she still couldn't forgive him for what he had done. But there was a tingly feeling in her stomach that told her that he was different towards her, it wasn't a strong feeling, but that gave her something to cling on to, maybe he could change, and Y/N was up for the challenge.
She should be more caring towards him, but would he take advantage of that? She should play hard to get, but would he get frustrated with her and slaughter her? There were many pros and cons to each decision she thought of, but she was willing to take the risk. Somehow, under all the bloodlust he held, there was something else in there. It may be just her mind tricking her, but there must be some sort of diamond hidden in the rough within him. She may be wrong though, and he might just be pure chaotic evil. But she can't be the one to judge.
It was fascinating, after their conversation yesterday, he looked concerned. He started looking like that after she made an upsetting face when he told her that her one cherished kimono was thrown out. He let out a huff and proceeded to leave her in a baffled state. She hasn't seen him since. Y/N was slightly worried at his whereabouts, but overall, it was none of her business... sort of.
Y/N was alarmed at the thought of him destroying other villages and killing women and children. It was horrifying. Maybe if she were there, it may be possible to stop him, he looked like he cared for her in a way. But why? It did not make sense why he would keep her. These sorts of questions always circle around her head, it was the only thing she could think of most of the days she's spent when she met him.
She tried thinking back on why she ended up like this. She didn't remember any specific event that led her into his trap. But the past does not matter anymore, what happened before cannot change now. Her fate was decided from the moment she ended up with him.
The floors were now sparkling, she's been cleaning the same spot over again to make sure not a speck of dust can be seen. She was proud of her cleaning skills, it wasn't much, but at least she had a useful skill in life. But she doubts she would use it that much in this current life of hers. She wonders what will happen if she dies. Will she possibly be reincarnated? Will she get another chance? Maybe.
The world works in mysterious ways, there are always some questions with no solutions. Y/N thought about her past life, if she had one. She possibly had a content life with maybe a lover and children in another place. That was a beautiful thought, one where she wishes she could go back to. Y/N then thought about the future, her next life. What kind of decision will she make then? Will she remember this life? It's unlikely.
The thoughts she had were laughable, how could she ever know about what life she had back then if she doesn't know what happened to her in this lifetime. She does not remember any specific moments that changed her or shaped her into the person she was. Her memory was fuzzy, it was like it had been wiped out for a specific reason, but she didn't know why.
Had she done something wrong? There was a chance that she might've offended the Gods and fated her to have this life. Maybe this was the main reason she was living like this. But these were all useless theories that cannot be approved or explained. It was disappointing, but not surprising. Maybe there was some other reason as to who her true identity was.
