Silence. Dead silence. No one spoke, and all that was heard was the wind swiftly moving. Sukuna was facing directly towards her. He didn't expect her to say anything, but he knew he was going to be wrong. The look on Y/N's face was dangerous, she was facing down on the stone cold floor with an unreadable expression. He didn't know what she was thinking, but he knew from the atmosphere he was getting from her that he had pushed her quite far. Sukuna fully believed that he was in the right, she was the one at fault. Right?

Still, nothing was said, the silence was becoming louder and louder. Sukuna was starting to feel uncomfortable with this situation he put them into. "Now what's with the silence? Do you have anything else you want to say to me?" Y/N's tone slowly became aggressive. "It's my fault that we're like this? Weren't you the one who told me not to leave your side? What thing is between us? What are you talking about!" Y/N's voice became louder, Sukuna had unlocked a new side of her. He honestly thought her anger was attractive, but it was not the time to go flirt with her.

"You are such an ASSHOLE!" Her scream pierced his ears, not once had he had a mere woman yell at him. This was a whole new feeling, but Sukuna was not mad nor was he angered at her burst, right now he felt nothing. He did not want to feel anything about her or feel anything in general.

Y/N puffed out some air from her chest. Sukuna still stood in the same position. Y/N was not going to cower back, she clearly had every right to get that off her chest. He shouldn't have been upset in the first place. Why did he have to be like this? Why does he have to be so aggressive most of the time? Why? She didn't understand his antics, she just couldn't wrap her head around it. Sukuna had the audacity to start this feud and say that it was her fault.

But Sukuna didn't say anything to counter her words, it was like he knew she was right. Silence took over once more, Y/N expected him to say something, or even punish her, but she got nothing. A sigh escaped from both her and his lips, she was happy to get that off her chest. Sukuna, with no other words to say, just walked away from this scenario. As he left the area, he could hear slight footsteps following him.

Sukuna was left confused, she was mad at him, so why is she following him? He would have thought that she would have left in the other direction. The sounds her feet made irritated him, this woman would not leave him alone. Sukuna did tell her to stay by his side, he admits that, but this was a bit extreme to have her next to him day and night.

They walked around the temple together with Sukuna at the front and Y/N right behind him. She currently was being an obedient puppy, too obedient, he wanted her to stop. Sukuna had no particular routine planned for the day, all he knew was that he wanted to get rid of her. Y/N on the other hand refused to leave his side, she was afraid to be left alone once more. That incident should not happen again, she won't let history repeat. That is why she stuck to him like glue, although she fully knew that he did not like to be followed.

Sukuna and her has been walking for thirty minutes non-stop, and both don't seem to be fatigued. Sukuna tried brushing her off by turning corners sharply so he could run away, but she always caught him on time. He could just teleport away, but that would cause another stir between them. He knew she was getting too attached with him. Now, Sukuna didn't care about his plan, all he needs is just to keep her out of harm's way so that he won't get hurt either. No relationship should have been built between them.

Locking Y/N up was the best option, but he couldn't do that, he just couldn't. Sukuna has been pacing around for quite some time, he didn't know what time it was. They were outside in the garden once more, this was the place where things got all muddled up. This was where it all started. Sukuna thought back to the time where she cried for him, he hated when he felt something. But he couldn't push it aside. He was the one who truly started this. What would have happened if he left her there? She would have just lived her life in peace. But if Sukuna killed her right there, what would have happened to the bond between them? Would he have also been killed? There was no way to find out.
