How long will this go on? It has been a week and still, there was no sign of his return. Was he waiting for her to come get him? No, she wouldn't know where to begin looking for him. He should be the one to come to her. Y/N has already taken so much of Sukuna's words that she no longer has the strength to be the lost puppy in the situation. She had no owner taking care of her, she was abandoned. It was lonely, but this time she could deal with it.
She was alone for most of her life, it was alright to spend some time with herself. She didn't know how long this will go for, but the longer she waits, the more she will start to let go. Y/N would eventually leave, but will she come back when she finds out he returned? If he were to go looking for her, she would quickly come back into his arms with a snap of a finger. Why would she do this? The answer was simple. Obey his rules and nothing goes wrong, this is what binds her to him. In Sukuna's perspective, he's bound to her because of their contract. No emotional thoughts seep through their relationship, at least that was what he wanted.
They were both extremely different from one another. They have their own ways of coping and their own ways to deal with their problems. But somehow, they fit together to create something. That something is never said between them, it was an unspoken rule that was made by the both of them. But both are aware of their feelings, but they don't seem to acknowledge them. They were both the type of people that were closed off most of the time, Sukuna being more closed off. Y/N was the type of person who seems to appear closed off, but will answer if asked. Of course she won't answer every time, people need their privacy.
These past days were always the same. She would wake up, change, eat, and when the day falls, she would take a nice long bath then go to bed. There was not much else to do. Uraume's ingredients were slowly running out, and by the time Sukuna returns, there won't be any food left. She knew how much Sukuna liked to eat food, even though he probably didn't need it, she was delighted that he started enjoying the food she gave him.
Since there was almost no food left, it would be great for her to go out to stock up, just in case he comes back abruptly. Y/N let out a tiring sigh, she knew it would take a while to travel to another village, after all, Sukuna ordered Uraume to destroy that one close village, the one where she lost people dear to her.
Y/N had to make sure that she knew where she was going, there was someone on the way who would give her a ride on a carriage. Hopefully she would have enough food on the way to the village. Y/N started to get herself ready. She packed just enough food for the short trip. She wouldn't be out long, hopefully she would return by the time the sun falls, and hopefully Sukuna doesn't return first until she did, for she knew he would do something terrible
Y/N carried a furoshiki shoulder bag that held mostly food. She didn't carry a whole meal with her, just snacks that would get her through the day, and hopefully it would fill her up just enough. While packing, Y/N also found some gold coins hidden in one of Sukuna's drawers. They were dull and dusty, she knew that this man has not used any money during his time as a curse. Y/N was worried about the state of these coins, will they still accept? Probably. There are many greedy people out there looking to be rich and powerful, no doubt someone would want those dull coins. Even if the coins didn't look the way they used to, it is still worth the same value no matter what they looked like.
Y/N didn't think anymore about the coins. She stuffed them into the bag and walked out of the temple. This temple did not hold any good memories, most of the time. But she was expected to return, well, she expects herself to return. Sukuna would most likely wait for her return, hopefully. Y/N was worried about the havoc he's wrecking, but she couldn't do anything to stop him. Even if she did try to get in his way, nothing would have changed, at least that's what she would have thought. Maybe if she did intervene, he would have taken her into account and he would have stopped. This was just a small possibility, but it still could have happened.
