After their little interaction with each other in the garden, she never attempted to leave his side. Many days went on like this as they would spend every hour, minute, and second together. They were in each other's sight every time, never would they lose each other. Sukuna was always supervising her, like she was some sort of child who always got into trouble and needed to be kept an eye on. He watched every moment and action she did, he would not get off her back. He was full on obsessed with her.
Sukuna's favourite pastime was to eat. He liked anything that was edible, actually, anything would be edible to him, since the concept of poisoning does not exist to him. During breakfast, lunch and dinner, they would always sit together eating in silence. The first few times they ate together, it was awkward, Y/N did not know whether or not to have small talk with him. The awkwardness eventually died down after a couple more times of eating in absolute silence.
They also have their daily walks together in silence. From the beginning of this, Y/N was the only one that talked. She spoke only if she had to ask questions, Sukuna's replies were always straight forward, eventually, Y/N ran out of questions to ask as she knew the answer of what she had to do. She honestly preferred when he didn't talk to her, that meant she wasn't doing anything wrong.
Bedding with Sukuna and laying close to him became a habit. They would somehow have physical contact with each other wherever they were. Y/N didn't realise how she has slowly become more dependent on him, and he was loving it. Y/N would sometimes graze her hands over his own on some occasions, and Sukuna would do it back.
When they were getting ready for bed, she would unconsciously lay right next to him making sure their bodies were touching. Her touch was familiar yet so new. He didn't hate it. It felt like they were connected, not as in the soul bond, but a deeper connection. Every inch of her was vaguely familiar yet he didn't know who she really was. Never has he met a woman like her.
As days bled into weeks, Y/N started to look more down and blue. She realised how caged up she was and wanted to be out with real people to have real social interaction. Although she knew Sukuna would never allow her to do such a thing. Maybe she could just go out with him with her, so that he would know she wouldn't try to leave him again like last time. It was a great idea, but how would she bring it up to him?
Right now they were having their scheduled walks. Did this man really have nothing else to do? She wasn't an exciting person to be around, so why waste his time on her? But then again, having him next to her assures her that nothing terrible is going on outside the temple. He wasn't able to make any moves towards her or destroy anything. It was nice and peaceful.
As they walked around the garden, Y/N took some extra time to appreciate the flowers they always walked by. She crouched down and gently grabbed the flower and brought it under her nose to take a more refined scent. Sukuna was watching behind her, amazed on how someone could appreciate the smallest things in life, never has he once done that before, even back when he was human.
After she was done sniffing, the expression in her face changed from a gentle smile to a dull look. The swings in her mood put him off. He didn't know what she was thinking about, but what he could tell was that she was currently in a foul mood. It seemed that she didn't want him to notice her and what she was thinking. Now he was curious about her thoughts.
Y/N stood up and looked up at the pastel blue sky, she took in a deep breath to calm her nerves. Sukuna watched her intensely. She then looked back on the ground and the expression on her face still did not falter. He did not know what she wanted, and that ticked him off slightly. It was quite impossible to solve her, but something in head clicked. He shouldn't be thinking about what she wanted, but how she felt.
