Chapter 10

Phil looked at (YN) while scrolling through her mobile. Her hair is in a messy bun and her face is actually glowing though she just woke up because her eyes are still a little slanted, she looked so small on the t-shirt she's wearing and Phil found her way cuter to see her like that and while he is staring to (YN) he wondered where on earth does this lovely looking human being came and why he just met her in this kind of circumstance. She's unbelievable, beautiful. Phil thought as he remembered the question he would ask to her. He just gets distracted by her.

"(YN)," Phil called her attention as (YN) turned herself to face him. "I want to know why you want to meet me."

She sits up straight and prepares some questions in her head to ask him about her findings. However, (YN) noticed something a while ago and came up with a new decision and she is no longer suspecting Phil about the possibility that he is a member of Corvus Order but rather she wants him to be her trusted ally in this case she's investigating. She knew that Phil is innocent at everything from the moment when she saw him face to face though suspicions against him might be true (YN) did not put that into her conclusions, this is a gut feel and weird it has legitimacy.

"Phil, you will be involved in one of my cases from now on. I am confidently sure that you're innocent from Hannah's case and you have no involvement in this Mafia group. And because of that I want you and I to exchange the deal of trusting each other." She addressed him with all seriousness in her tone. Phil is gazing at her in disbelief and he doesn't know what is happening.

"Wait, what do you mean? Hannah's case and Mafia group, what are those?" Phil stammered.

"About the case of Hannah, I still have to clarify that since I have no idea why she wanted to meet you but didn't turn up. And about that Mafia group," She pulled out her laptop from her satchel, opened the article about the Corvus Order crimes and showed the screen to Phil. "Your business partner you met a year ago according to your statement is this syndicate group, the Corvus Order."

"What?!" He snapped. "How do you know all of this stuff?"

"The reason I asked you about the logo I saw in your bar is because it is very familiar to me. That night became even meaningful because I found out everything." She stated.

"So that means I'm not actually the reason why your night is meaningful?" Phil teased but (YN) didn't bother to answer his flirtatious question.

"You told me information I need to know." She discussed to him about the Corvus Order's crimes, how they are caught and now their secret of building the foundation of their illegal crimes once again. And she also shared to him why it is somehow connected to Hannah's case.

"Oh no, does that mean I'm in big trouble?" He worried until (YN) smiled at him as if nothing should be troubled about.

"You can avoid it." She guaranteed but his face still looks worrying.

"I let those bad people operate again. The police will think I am one of them."

"Suspicion might be thrown against you is possible but they don't have any evidence to say you are a member of this Mafia group." (YN) continued again on discussing the Corvus Order.
"They have this sign," she pointed at the logo of the raven similar to the Aurora Bar. "If you are a member of the Corvus Order then you are obliged to put their insignia specifically on the back of your body."

"And?"

"The reason why I decided I want you and I to trust each other in this case is because I cleared that you are not a member of this Mafia group and I can confirm that you will never be a suspect at all." (YN) concluded with a satisfactory smile.
