Chapter 19

"You got it." (YN) asked Jake after she activated the button that can hack the system of the establishment she is standing in now. Taking the risks that they can finally find Hannah in this place since she had a hint from the very beginning, as soon as (YN) discovered the return of Corvus Order that it is also connected to Hannah's disappearance and the fact that Phil is her way to find them, she didn't waste a time to move right away.

Second chance has been given to her, to fully give justice to the death of her father and the other victims of this mafia group. But (YN) did not expect that she would come across on finding a missing girl, become close to the stranger she doesn't even think she'll care about in the process, and carry the biggest responsibility she never imagined she would handle.

This is not only for the sake of her career, to publish a good story and make money out of it but she makes sure that those bad guys she exposed will no longer harm innocent people. (YN) just wanted to help, she wants to uncover the truth, bring the traitors of virtue against human rights to jail and suffer, and she is willing to take any kinds of risks because the world she's living in is unfair. If no one can act about it, she will, in any best that she can.

(YN) is aware that she can't be a hero but, her principles she got from her father is what made her today now. Someone needs help and with all of her capabilities she will make an effort to lend a hand. Many people may stop her from doing good deeds but she can't be stopped for she relies on her confidence that she will succeed, even that person who's going to stop her is her own brother. For (YN), there is no blood, age, gender, nor can status dictate which side justice should choose because only the right and fair is able to prevail.

After Jake confirmed that he already hacked the system, (YN) was advised to wait for a while to his signal. She joined Phil in the bar that was just sitting, drinking some beer and chose not to get along with those partying crowds. Both of them were just talking about different and other interesting stuff as they waited for Jake.

"You're not going to order?" Phil asked (YN) who just sat next to him.

"Nope. But I do hope they served espresso." (YN) joked and just watched the crowd.

"I remember when my bartender said that you asked for coffee on this very same hour, the night you waited for me but you almost got assaulted." He recalled, he sounded jesting but it's not his intention to make fun out of it after what happened to her but (YN) chuckled to it.

"I'm just a fan of coffee. I need it when I am working." She said.

"And also, you still need to explain to why you lied to me that you are staying at the motel yet you're just with Lilly." Phil mentioned as (YN) remembers when she made him tell the whole story about the night she nearly assaulted and ended waking up in his apartment. She can't believe that she was very fierce and has a bitchy attitude and she has shown it to him.

"Well, I still don't trust you that time."She answered him and smiled. "But now, yes."

"Oh, yeah. You do," He smirked and drank his beer. "Thanking to see me half naked gives reassurance, eh?" He said teasingly to (YN). She immediately avoided glances and felt sudden warmth on her cheeks as she remembered that time with Phil.

"It has no meaning at all, as I told you." (YN) defended the same reason.

"If that's what you say." For the last time, he finished drinking his beer. (YN) didn't realize herself that she silently found him attractive as he drank when she noticed how his Adam's apple goes up and down, and with the motion of his broad jaw line that is perfectly structured as if it was carved like a Greek sculpture. She can't help but also notice his well worked-out biceps through his rolled up long sleeves and his tattooed veiny arms, and what adds more to his alluring appearance was his half-tied hair that highlights his sharp glances. Phil put down his bottle on the table and went back looking to (YN) who was staring at him dreamily. "What's up, (YN)?"
