"Do you want to stop and get some flowers?" Oikawa asked as the two of you drove.

"That'd be nice, yes please."

"Okay.." He sighed. "Y/n? Can I ask you something?"

"Okay?"

"Um.." Oikawa's grip on the steering wheel tightened.
"What do you remember about your parents.. You said that the picture helped but..do you remember them fully?"
He found his words caught in his throat as he spoke.

You continued to stare out the window.
"I don't remember them at all.. Just that one picture.. It was like something clicked and I remembered that day.. And the fact that I had it with me when my home had burned down..."

Oikawa waited for you continued.

"You see.. It's like I don't fully see the memory.. It's like the somethings missing and is fuzzy.. Like the background, or small details..I don't really know how to explain it.."

Oikawa gave you a soft look.
"I understand.."
He cleared his throat.
"Um.. Were at the flower shop."

"Okay." You said as you unbuckled your seat belt.
"Um.. Oikawa? There's something else I been meaning to ask you as well.."

"What's that?"

"D-do I have a job? Do I work or did I just stay home?"

Oikawa let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.
"You do have one yes...if you want we can talk about it when we're done here and stuffs.." His eyes trailed away from you.

He had trouble looking at you recently.

"Okay."

He was also having trouble dealing with the whole memory loss thing.
The way you spoke with single words or small answers.. It wasn't the you he grew up to know.
And he didn't want to get used to it.

After you and Oikawa had bought some flowers you both sent off to the cemetery where your parents were buried.

You felt a sudden wash of sadness come over you as you stepped out of the car.
You couldn't figure out why but you ruled it off since you were at a cemetery.

Oikawa knew exactly where to go since he would take you three times a year.
For birthdays and the death anniversary.

He felt a ping in his heart as he walked over to the two tomb stones.
Your parents were great people who always took in Oikawa when he was having a bad day. Even if he was being dramatic most of the time.

He placed two small bouquets down and held back a single tear.
He wasn't crying because he was sad to be there.
He was about to cry because he had brought the very people who brought you into this world with him and she didn't even remember them.

He still felt incredibly guilty since the accident.

Once he was done saying what he wanted to say out loud, in his head.
He stepped aside and let you put down your flowers.

You stared at the tomb stones and furrowed your brows.
You knew that you should be incredibly sad but you just could seem to cry.

You kneeled down in front of your mothers grave first.
Pulling out the photo that Oikawa had given you just before you left the apartment.
The photo that made you remember the day it was taken.

You stared at the photo in your hands.
"I don't remember who you are exactly.. But.. I know that you meant a lot to me. I feel it in my gut..." You paused, finally placing the flowers down on each grave.

You stood up.
"I believe that the next time I come here, I will know exactly who you two are.. And I will be back with proper tears to shed."

Oikawa looked at you with confusion with what you just said, but he didn't dare to question it.
He can't begin to imagine how you must be feeling at this moment right now.

He couldn't begin to understand how you must feel to stand here and not remember those who meant so much to you.

Nothing he could assume about your emotions would ever be even close.

After the visit to the cemetery, Oikawa offered to take her to her favorite Cafe where they sold these strawberry danish that made your mouth water just looking at it.

You didn't know this but this was the Cafe you two would always go to after a visit with your parents.

Sitting in silence as you sipped your (Fav drink) you took the time to analyze Oikawa's face. Trying to read his mind with what his eyes were telling you.

"Oikawa?"

He snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of his name.
He offered you a hum and a smile.

"What's on your mind?"

Oikawa hummed again, but this time it was a more saddened tune.
"Nothing in particular, don't worry okay?...you wanted to know about your job?"
He offered trying hard to get the topic changed since he didn't really want to express how he was feeling at this given moment.

If Oikawa was to speak his mind and tell you what was actually on his mind.
It would be a simple but complicated answer.

You weren't you.

"Uh yeah sure." You answered with full attention.

"Well. You work as an office worker basically. It's not a big job but you liked it.. It had simple and consistent hours.."

You furrowed your brows.
"An office job? I didn't take up photography?"

Oikawa shook his head.
"No.."He trailed off furrowing his brows.
"You never even mentioned about doing photography as a career.. Ever."

"That's weird.. You'd think I would like it since I took all kinds of photos.."

Oikawa nodded as he stared out a near by window.
"You would think so yeah.."
