It's been two weeks since Oikawa left the apartment to live with Iwaizumi.

He would message once a day to make sure that you were doing okay. But as of right now, he and Iwaizumi were away for a volleyball game.
Yes Iwaizumi wasn't a volleyball player, but Oikawa was always dragging him along to his games.

You weren't quite sure when he'd return home.

Since Oikawa leaving you felt a bit lonely but you also took this time to explore and to find yourself again.

When Oikawa was living with you, you, it was like a constant reminder that you lost memories.
You felt like you were living as a different person.

You still looked through all kinds of photos, at least twice a day, but no new memories have come.

You also looked throughout your phone to see if anything would 'pop' out at you.
But nothing really.

Although you did find one name that struck some sort of nerve.
You remembered her name from the story Oikawa told you.

Yuma.

You decided that maybe a talk with her woolf jog up some sort of memory, anything about your past.
Since seeing the photo of your mother and father and seeing a memory come to life, you hoped that maybe if you dug into your past, something would come out of it.

The number rang a couple of times before a sweet voice chimed through.

"Hello?"

"Um.. Is this Yuma?"

"It is.. May I ask who's asking?"

"Uh.. It's Y/n...sorry L/n Y/n..I had your numb-"

"I remember you honey.."

"I don't.. Um actually I was wondering if you were free today, maybe we could meet for coffee?"

"I'd like that very much, how does noon sound?"

"Good.. Um.."

"How about I come to your house.. I have a feeling a you need to tell me something."

"I do.."

"I'll be over soon, you still live in the apartment with that beautiful window?"

"Erm.. Yeah"

"I'll see you soon honey."

And with that she hung up the phone.
You felt a sense of familiarity with the sound of her voice.
It was the same feeling you got when you would stare up at the moon.

Maybe there was hope.

You were lost in your thoughts before you heard a buzz to come let Yuma in.

Greeting her with a smile and guiding her into the apartment and sitting down.
You offered her some green tea, which she gladly took.

Yuma was an older lady, she kept her now grey hair in a tight, low bun. She was wearing a beautiful light pink blouse with flowers on it.

She was beautiful.

Taking a small sip she smiled.
"I have to say.. I was shocked to hear your voice on the phone earlier.."

You gave her a confused look.

"Well, you called exactly one day early."

"One day?"

Yuma smiled.
"Tomorrow is the day you became a part of my family. You always call every year to meet up some place."

You nodded slowly.
"Oh.. So I assume that means?"

"That it is also the anniversary of your parents death? Yes dear."

You looked down at your hands that were cradling your mug.

"Toru told me what happened over three weeks ago.."

You waited for her to continue.

"I'm sorry you lost your memories dear.. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through."

"Honestly..it feels like I'm having constant out of body experience.. Like I look at you and I know that I know you, I can feel it in my gut.. But.. I don't remember how I really know you...the same with Oikawa.."

"Oikawa?" Yuma chuckled.
"I haven't heard you say his last name so casual since you were a teen starting highschool..oh speaking of which where is Toru?"

You sighed.
"We decided to have some space."

"You broke up?"

You furrowed your brows.
"I mean.. I guess you could say that.. Although that's not the exact words that came out.. Just.. A break."

"A break huh? What brought that on?"

You shrugged.
"He first asked if I was in pain..then proceeded to say that maybe a break apart was good.."

"Call him."

"I'm sorry?"

"You should call him and tell him that this break is ridiculous."

You shook your head in confusion.
"B-but-"

Yuma put up her hand.
"I've heard it before Y/n..a break is not what's gonna make this work.. Unless you're willing to just give up on him.. Although I know from experience that he won't give up that easily."

"From experience?"

Yuma laughed. "You think that not once in your eight year relationship, there wasn't one fight? One argument that made you say 'I think we should take a break'"

"Oikawa never talked about things like that.. He was always telling me the happy memories..".

"As he should..but be honest hun.. When you're with Toru, how do you feel?"

You pondered on the thought for a moment.
You still couldn't wrap your head around the fact that you feel so comfortable around this woman in front of you.
You were wishing and begging to remember her, to remember the time you spent with her.

"Um.. He took good care of me.."

"But how does he make you feel?"

You sighed, deciding to just open up.
"When I'm near him, I feel this sense of familiarity and calmness. It's like I know him, but I don't.. know.. Him.."

Yuma nodded.
"And your memories? Will they ever return?"

"The doctor said it's possible, but so far I've had no luck..."

Yuma nodded, then finished off her tea.
"I'm so sorry hun..if I could take this pain away, I would. I would give you all your memories if I could."

You smiled.
"Yuma? Can you tell me something you remember about me growing up? Any favorite dy or memory?"

Yuma sat up in her seat with a smile.
"I've got a couple stories, but this one has to be by far my favorite.."
