The night of the high school dance of our last year.
"Just this one dance Iwa?" You said holding out your hand for him to take.
"Just one. Before Oikawa kills me with his stare." He chuckled.
"I love this song.." You smiled as you put your hands on your best friends shoulders, as he put his hands on your hips. You both minded the space between the two of you.
"I know you do. You probably play it any chance you get when were studying."
"You know me well."
"Of course. You're my best friend."
The day when Oikawa got a girlfriend.
"You know? You should tell him how you feel."
You shook your head as you took a spoonful of your ice cream. "I can't do that..He looked happy today..I'm sure he's liked her for a while."
"I don't know about that..I've never heard of him speaking about her."
You raised an eyebrow. "You think that he accepted her confession just to do so?"
Iwaizumi shrugged. "It's possible.."
You started to chew on the end of your spoon.
"Damn.."
"Hey? You'll find that certain someone. I know you will. If anyone deserves love. It's you Y/n."
You smiled. "Thank you Iwa."
The night after your house fire.
"Hey..It isn't all that bad here..You have your own room and the lady here seems nice." Oikawa offered a smile.
You nodded. "Yeah..Yuma is nice.." You said with a shaky voice, wiping away a tear.
"But she's not your mom.." Iwaizumi said.
You nodded, staring off into nothing.
"I know it's gonna be hard, but you still us okay? We'll always be here for you. no matter what."
"Yeah! you can't get rid of us that easily Y/n!" Oikawa winked.
You took in a deep breath, but remained silent.
Iwaizumi reached over an wiped the tears running down your face.
He surprised you when he pulled you into a tight embrace.
"Let it out Y/n."
The day when Seijoh lost to Karasuno.
"You okay Iwa?"
He nodded as he wiped away tears. "I never thought you'd see me cry.."
"I'm here..You can let them out Iwaizumi."
