"You're freaking kidding me right?" You grunted to Oikawa who was clearly disregarding your feelings.

"Babe! It's just a meet up with the team tonight...not a big deal.."

"But why can't I come with? It's your birthday after all!"

"Because babe, it's the team only."

"But you know how I feel about that stupid female manager of yours! Like why is she even your guy's manager."

"Back in highschool we used to have one... You.."

Your rolled your eyes.
"This is not the point Toru! She's always hitting on you! And you do nothing about it!"

"What do you mean? It's not like I flirt with her back!"

You let out a long, frustrated sigh.
"Why can't i just come and make sure she keeps her mouth shut! That's all I ask!"

"Because! None of the other guys are bringing their girls, so it would be weird.."

"Just stop making excuses Oikawa-I had this whole thing planned out too.. But you decided to ditch my plans for your birthday..nice.. Real nice."

The sound of his last name coming out of your lips is what ticked him off the most.
He knew that when you addressed him by Oikawa and not his first name..you were pissed.

"Do you not trust me L/nnnn" He said, dragging out the last letter of your name in pure anger and annoyance.

"It's her I don't trust! Like come on! I've been to every single one of your games! And all she does and flaunt herself and flirt with you! She knows you're engaged and yet... You still don't stop her.. It's like you enjoy it..."

"Don't say that Y/n.."

"If I remember correctly, before we started to date.. You were quite the popular guy with all the ladies, I bet you miss being flirted with and I bet you hate the fact that you're tied down!"

"Y/n stop making assumptions! Calm down okay!"

"Do you even love me Toru? Because it sure as hell doesn't feel like it recently. Happy f*cking birthday."

Oikawa stared at you in confusion. His anger growing more and more.
"Are you that insecure Y/n?"

You held your face in your hands as you remembered that day.
It was the one memory that you wanted to forget about.

You felt guilty for arguing with Oikawa. A part of you thought that if you didn't over react the way you did and that you could replan your day for Oiakwa's birthday, then you wouldn't have gotten into that car accident. And that Oikawa wouldn't be feeling as guilty as was right now.

You also hated how a girl was what set you off.
You knew that Oikawa was one for the ladies and yet yours ill got jealous..You've been jealous all your life.

"You looked so cool Oikawa-san!" Three fan girls cooed as practice ended.

"Thank you for coming!" He would smile back to them.

You would wait on the bench for the boys to get changed before walking home.

Your feelings for Oikawa had grew over time and you'd be lying if you said that you didn't find your best friend attractive. But what bothered you about the other girls was that they'd didm't know or see who the real Oikawa Toru was. But you did.
