" Darling , I have something really important to ask you . " Draco says while you walk with your arms locked together towards Hogsmeade . It was finally winter and you were so close to going home for the holidays . The snowflakes danced around you and things seemed to be perfect .

" Of course Draco . You know i'm always open ears . " You smile up at him and the snow makes his gray eyes seem as though they're a shade of blue . His cheeks and nose were a light shade of red as the wind blew his hair out of place .

" Would you come to the Manor with me for Christmas ? I would understand if you said no . I know we haven't exactly been together long . " You weren't sure of how to answer him . You just had been together for what seemed like a very short 6 months .

As your lost inside your thoughts you watch as his expression goes from a hopeful joy to a cold , blank stare . Draco unlocks his arm with yours and shoved his hands into his pocket as you both continue to walk in the blistering silence .

" Draco , I would love to join you and your family . " You grab his hand so he'll stop walking and face you . You take the gloves off of your hands and you press a hold hand to his flushed face . Draco leans down and plants a soft kiss on your wind-chapped lips . Once you kiss back it feels as if it was your first time ever touching his lips .

Euphoric .

That's the only way you can explain how wonderful it feels . You and Draco lock arms once again and continue to Hogsmeade . You walk with him at a slow pace past all the shop windows that are decorated elaborately for the Christmas holiday . You walked in silence except for your little sniffles in between breaths .

Draco stops in his tracks in front of a jewelry store and store and you peer into the window at a beautiful diamond ring on display . " It's beautiful isn't it ? just like you .. " Draco says under his breath and places a hand in the small of your back .

" It is beautiful , but the ring is only as beautiful as the hand that wears it Draco . That ring is for your soulmate , not just someone you care for deeply . " Draco looks stunned by your answer .

He stares deeply into your eyes for a long moment before speaking . " What if you are my soulmate Y/N ? " You stand there as his words repeat over and over in your mind . What if Draco was your soulmate ? What if he was your forever ?

" I guess we'll just have to test time and find out . " You smile at him and he returns a equally as wide smile along with a soft kiss planted on your forehead .

You shutter as a cold wind blows snow all around you . " Let's go to the three broomsticks you can warm up and get a drink . " Draco takes your hand in his as you nod in response and leads you to the Three Broomsticks . Once you get inside you dust the small amount of snow from your clothes and Draco's as well .

" Your such a mom . " Draco whispers in your ear with a chuckle , making you smile . He finds a table in the back of the room and asks the server to have a glass of butterbeer and 2 shots of fire whiskey brought to your table .

" When we get back to the school , you need to start packing my love . Instead of leaving in the morning we'll leave tonight . " Draco says very calmly as he runs his fingers along the top of your hand . You can feel yourself start to freak out inside .

" Draco you could have told me earlier . I won't have enough time to get ready . " Your server sets down your butterbeer in front of you and you take a long sip trying to collect yourself mentally .

" You'll be fine darling , I promise you will have time . As soon as we leave here we can head back . " Draco says as he completely downs his shots and the server gave him a free one . You take another drink of your butterbeer and Draco just stares at you as if he's never seen you before .
