Stuck in the middle

It was the beginning of your third year . You were at platform 9 3/4 with your parents about to go through . " Now darling don't forget to write and promise us to keep out of trouble . " Your mother hugs you and you run through the platform . " There you are Y/N . It's about time you showed up . " Hermione exclaims when she sees you . You run and hug her , Harry , and Ron . " We missed you too . " Harry says slightly laughing . You smile and kiss his cheek .

Sometimes you felt odd being friends with the golden trio but other times it was exciting and adventurous . You met them on the first day of your first year . All the train cars were full but theirs and they let you sit with them . You and Harry grew quiet close since then . It was nothing serious . You were just friends . You seen Draco approaching and run and hug him as well . " Y/N , darling . " He hugs you back and his cologne overwhelms you . " I missed you Draco . " You whisper and giggle into his ear .

" I missed you too but your other friends are staring . " He pulls away slightly smiling . " I'm sorry , i'll see you at Hogwarts though , I have to get to our train car . " You use your tippy toes to kiss his cheeks making him blush . You smile as you walk off joining the rest of your friends . " Malfoy is such a git Y/N . " Harry says in a pissy tone . " Were just friends Harry . " You playfully nudge him as you get on the train .

While going to your train car you pass Draco's and smile at him but he completely ignores you and continues talking to his friends . You just look back at the ground . " Y/N are you okay ? " Hermione asks as you all sit down in your seats . You simply nod your head . You quickly start to zone out of their conversation . Every time Draco was with his idiot friends he always pushed you away but in private he wanted nothing but you .

You knew eventually you would have to choose between Harry and Draco but you weren't ready . If you choose Draco then Harry would push you away along with Hermione and Ron . If you choose Harry then Draco will completely remove himself from
your life . Your stuck in the middle of lovers and friends . You loved Draco , everything about him was so mysterious , he was charming , and like a breath of fresh air . Harry was stern , always in trouble , and can never make enough time . When you were with Harry he was somewhere else and that bothered you . You got lost in you thoughts falling asleep on the train .

" Y/N ! Y/N ! Wake up , we're at Hogwarts ! " Hermione yells while shaking you . You rub your eyes and straighten up stretching . You quietly follow her off the train and accidentally bump into Draco . " Watch out you - " He stops mid-sentence when he sees it's you who bumped into him . " Sorry Y/N , I almost called you a git . " He laughs and his friends behind him laugh too . " Well she is a git Draco , just look at her . A pathetic gryffindor who will never amount to anything . " Pansy mocks you laughing but everyone goes silent when they notice Draco isn't laughing .

" Well Pansy since your so much better then me . You can have Draco to yourself . " You walk past her making sure to run into just hard enough to make her stumble . You catch up with Hermione , Harry , and Ron and notice Harry seems out of it . " What happened Harry ? " You run up next to him with a concerned look . " While you were asleep a dementor attacked him . If professor Lupin hadn't been there I might've died . " You weren't shocked but acted like it anyways . " Are you alright ? Are you hurt love ? " You look him up and down expecting him .

" I'm fine , I just passed out for a little bit . I'm fine now , thank you . " He barely forces a smile trying to reassure you . The two most important people in your life were enemies . You've tried everything to make them be friends but it was a lost cause . You silently follow them into the castle and before going into the great hall Hermione pulls you aside . " Y/N we have a serious issue . " She says just above a whisper so that people passing by can't hear .
