" What do I say ? Just a plain and simple go to the yule ball with me ? or something big and cute ? " Draco said to Crabbe , Goyle , and Pansy while pacing the slytherin common room . " Instead of asking Y/N just ask me Draco . " Pansy smirked and he just stared at her as if she was an idiot . " I would go to the yule ball with my mother before asking you Pansy . " He scoffed and then Y/N walked in .

" Hi Draco " he blushed as you said his name as if he was a child seeing santa for the first time . " Hey Y/N " he said softly not looking up from the ground . " Will you walk with me to potions Draco ? " Pansy broke the tension . He just nodded and they left . You waited a few minutes before leaving behind them . You couldn't stand Pansy or the way she acted like Draco was her trophy wife .

You walked into potions and everyone turned to look at you . " Your late miss L/N . 5 points from Slytherin and detention tonight . " Snape darted his eyes at you . You just took your seat and opened your book . You could hear Pansy snicker in the seat behind you . As badly as you wanted to turn around and tell her to fuck off you didn't wanna get into anymore trouble . Half way into class you were taking notes then suddenly a paper dove landed on your desk . You turned back and seen Draco smiling .

" would you go to the yule ball with me ? - Draco " was what the note said . Smiling you turned around and nodded at him . Soon as snape dismissed class you went up to Draco hugging him . " I'm glad you asked me Draco . I was afraid I was gonna have to go alone . " He whispered in your ear  " How could i resist someone so beautiful . I could only hope to mean your expectations . i'll see you then darling . " He kissed your cheek and walked away .

When you went back to your dorm there was a box sitting on your bed neatly wrapped with a bow and a letter on top . You open the letter , " Whether you go to the ball with someone or not you'll still be the prettiest girl there - mother " You quickly opened the box pulling out the dress gasping . She also sent a pair of black heels and emerald green earrings . Your smile was over the moon . You couldn't wait until Draco seen you in your dress . After studying and dinner in the great hall you went back to your dorm to sleep .

The next day you woke up late in the afternoon since you didn't have any classes . You had barely gotten out of bed when your best friend burst in out of breath . " What on earth F/N ? " You yelled at her . " George , George Weasley just asked me to the yule ball . " She exclaimed happily . You jumped outta bed hugging her . " Oh F/N i'm so happy for you . Now we have to start getting ready . I want to look my best for Draco . " You both were filled to the brim with happiness .

As you started getting ready you looked at yourself in the mirror . " What if Draco doesn't like my dress ? or worse I step on his feet while we're dancing ? " F/N just laughed at you . " Draco would be a fool to not like your dress Y/N and you've had plenty of practice I doubt you'll step on his feet . Though you might want to hurry your already late . " F/N put the last pin in her hair before walking out the door . You just sighed and finished getting ready . You looked over yourself in the mirror one last time before walking out the door .

Draco watched as you walked down the steps . Your dress flowing find you , the way your curls fell perfectly off your shoulders . He couldn't help but smile at you . When you reached the bottom of the steps he stuck his arm out for you . " You look amazing love . I couldn't ask for a more beautiful lady to join me . " He smiled kissing your hand and leading you inside the ball . The entire evening Draco never took his eyes off of you . You both danced in each other's arm as if it were no tomorrow . You both were truly happy .

As you were dancing with Draco you got a idea and whispered in his ear " Follow me ." You smiled at him and took his hand making him follow you outside into the field . You took a deep breath . The moon was full and bright beaming down on you both . " What are we doing out here ? " Draco looked at you confused . " This Draco " you slipped on your heels holding them in your left hand and holding Draco's hand in your right and started running through the grass . " Y/N you look absurd , let's go back inside . " Draco just looked at you confused but also with a soft expression . " No Draco , You need to have more fun . You an uptight stick in the mud . Now chase me . " You smirked back at him picking up the bottom of your dress and started running faster through the grass laughing as he chased after you .

Yours and Draco's laugh filled the air as you ran through the grass . Sudden you tripped in a hole falling down causing you to laugh more and Draco laid on the ground next to you . You both looked at each other laughing but stopped after a minute and just stared into each other's eyes smiling . Draco cupped your cheek with his hand . " Your beautiful Y/N , the way the moonlight highlights your skin and gives your eye a sparkle . I've never had this much fun with anyone in my life . Thank you . " He leaned over kissing you passionately and you couldn't help but kiss back . After you pull away he sits up pulling you into his arms . " I've felt this way about you for a while Y/N I just wasn't sure how to say it or even talk to you . You make me nervous and honestly I slowly found myself falling in love with you . " Draco had the most loving tone in his voice that you've ever heard . It warmed your heart to hear him say that . " I love you too Draco . " You said kissing him again .

You and Draco stayed in the field until you fell asleep in his arms then Draco carried you inside and to your dorm . He stayed and cuddled you until he knew you were good and asleep before leaving you with a kiss on your forehead .
