As Y/N and Hermione sat in potions Y/N's eyes  were glued on Draco malfoy . You watched as he laughed at his idiot friends . The way his smile was genuine and you could tell because he smiled with his eyes . All of a sudden Hermione elbowed you in the ribs causing you to come out of your day dream . " what was that for you git ? " You rubbed your side where she had hit you . " you were staring again Y/N , you could at least choose someone else to look at , someone more i don't know pleasant . " Hermione had a sneer form on her lips . " I'm not quite sure i even know what you see in him . He's a prude . " She laughed .

" Hair white as ice it's mesmerizing , dressed to blend in with the night . " She listened to you attentively while you kept your eyes on Draco . " Eyes grey as stone so damn patronizing , no secret he's bad to bone . " A small smile started to form on your lips . " But beneath the cloak of armor he's a product of his father , a broken man with broken memories , he'll question your intentions and object to your affection , he's someone who only wants to be seen , he's the chosen one for me . " Hermione just looked at you in shock for a minute before speaking .

" Just talk to him , it's not hard Y/N , just open your mouth and words will come out . " As soon as you started to speak class was dismissed you and gathered your things to leave .

It didn't matter how much you wanted to talk to Draco he could care less . He would probably choose pansy over you . So you just tried to ignore it for as long as possible . Hermione wanted you to study with her so you both went to the library . As you walked past Draco his cologne filled the air . You opened your mouth to say something to him but it was as if you forgotten every word in the dictionary . " What ? cat got your tongue Y/N ? " He snickered at you . Hermione just grabbed your arm and pulled you off . " what the bloody hell was that Y/N !? " She whisper yelled at you . " Mione i panicked okay ? i mean can you blame me ? " She just stared at you as if you were an idiot . " Just go back to the common room and think about how stupid you just made yourself look Y/N . " So with that you headed back to the common room .

As you were walking , silently thinking to yourself . Suddenly someone grabbed your arm and pulled you around the corner . " What's the meaning of this ! " You nearly screamed until you looked to seen Draco telling you to hush . He led you down the hall into the room of requirements before saying anything . " No one can hear us here . Now i need to speak with you . " He just looked at you as if he didn't just force you into the room with him . " You could have just said that earlier instead of dragged me around . " You dusted yourself off . " what do you want to talk to me about ? " It was hard for you to look at him . Your heart fluttered each time you tried . " I heard you talking about me in potions . Did you really mean all of it ? " It felt as if he was staring into your soul . You could feel the heat rise in your cheeks . " every word . i meant every single thing i said and i won't take it back malfoy . " Finally you made eye contact with him .

" Go on the a date to Hogsmeade with me . If you say no that's perfectly fine . I want to give this thing a chance . Even if you are a gryffindor . " You started to smile and kissed his cheek . " i would love to . " He kissed your forehead and you walked out together .
