All the animals surrounded Priderock after some years for the land to recover. Not only they were here to celebrate Simba reclaiming the throne but to also witness the throne being passed down to Kiara and Kovu and Kion's death. The lionesses from Zira's pride as well as Nuka have joined up with them.
Mheetu, Taka and the remainder of the guards stood to aside and allowed the events to unravel.
It began with Kiara and Kovu's coronation

"Today, I would like to pass down the throne and the Pridelands to Kiara and Kovu." Simba announced as Makini walked up to the new rulers of the Pridelands. "Not only that, but we are united as one." The animals cheered as Makini dipped her thumb into a red substance and drew a line over both Kiara and Kopa.
"I would like to welcome you all back to the Pridelands." Kiara began. "Eventhough it has taken some time to reclaim the Pridelands and allow it to recover, we still managed to push through and made it back to normal. Well almost."
Kiara then took a step to the side to allow the new king to come forth. "As you can all tell, unfortunately Kion has joined the great kings above."

A few years have passed and everyone was doing just fine. Well almost everyone. Fuli sat outside her den with her little one. She found him at the border of the Pridelands one day while she was on patrol. She laid at the entrance of her den with her little one. Beshte and Bunga walked over and laid next to Fuli while Ono and Anga laid down together on the opposite side. The five of them gazed off into the sunset, wishing that Kion was still alive.
