Chapter 11 - Trouble

Anga flew down from her tree. "What was with all the screaming?" Ono questioned as he landed on top of Kion's head.

"Were we that loud?" Vitani sarcastically apologised which earned a couple of giggles from Kiara and Fuli.

At a watering hole, Simba and Nala were enjoying their time together but soon began to worry about their kids. Beshte and Bunga were with them and were also worrying about their friends. Simba and Nala looked over at Beshte and Bunga. "Do you both think that you'll be able to find them?" Nala questioned.

"Yes. Of course your highness." Beshte said with a bow at the end.

Simba looked over towards Nala. "Do you want?" Simba questioned as Nala nodded. The two of them took off into a different part of the jungle.

Everyone had one last look at the view of the jungle before Ono decided to say something. "We should start heading back home now." Everyone else nodded in agreement. Kion, Kopa and Kovu took lead with Ono and Anga flying above their heads. Kiara, Fuli and Vitani trailed behind.

"I wonder what mum and dad are thinking. They must be worried sick since we didn't return back." Kion whispered to Kopa who nodded in agreement. Kovu walked closer to the duo and decided to speak.

"When we do arrive to your home, what do you think your parents would say about us?" The brothers could tell that he was nervous but he managed to remain calm during the situation. Kion was deep in thought. When they do return back, then they were nervous to what their parents might say. Their mother might be more open compared to their father but that wouldn't mean that she would allow Vitani and Kovu to join them with open arms.

Vitani ran up to Kion and pulled him ahead of everyone which made the others stop in their tracks. "Kion," Vitani began as they stopped. "I've been wondering what your parents would say when we do bump into them." There was fear in her eyes as she looked in the direction they were walking in.

Kion placed one of his paw onto her shoulder as everyone else caught up. "Don't worry about that. Try and think positive. We would all have each others backs so we would be able to protect one another." This caused Vitani to smile at him which was cut short as they heard a rustle in the bushes. Kion jumped in front of everyone in a defensive position as Fuli joined him. Ono and Anga flew behind the bush in order to see who or what was behind the bush. All of a sudden, Ono and Anga were yelling at Kion and Fuli to not attack. This confused everyone when all of a sudden, Bunga jumped out from behind so everyone could see why.

"Bunga!" Kion happily exclaimed as Beshte walked out. "Beshte! Nice to see the two of you." The pair smiled to Kion but then removed it. "What's wrong?"

Their eyes drifted over towards Kovu and Vitani. Kion picked up on the signal and then blocked them from being able to get to them. "Kion, what are you doing? Do you know who those two are?" Bunga pointed towards Kovu and Vitani. Everyone else nodded but they still stood in front of Kovu and Vitani.

"Yes we know who they are but they aren't going to harm us." Kiara replied as she walked forwards. Just then, they heard a roar and out from the bushes were Simba, Nala and Mheetu.

Everyone turned to look at the adults and noticed that they looked a bit annoyed. Simba was the one who looked like he could kill everyone while Mheetu and Nala just stood there in silence behind Simba."Kion! Kopa! Kiara! Fuli! Ono! Anga! Where did you all go? Everyone was worried sick and also, who are they?" Simba glared at Vitani and Kovu. At first he thought they looked familiar and then realised. "Kovu, Vitani. Get away from my kids!" Simba growled in a deep voice. This shocked both Mheetu and Nala since they could barely see what's happening from behind.

The three siblings bowed their heads in disappointment as they made their way over to their parents and uncle. Fuli, Anga, Ono, Bunga and Beshte just trailed. Kovu and Vitani just stood there as they watched all of them leave. Nala turned around to look at Zira's children and noticed something odd so she decided to approach them as everyone else disappeared. "So, what are you really doing here?" Kovu and Vitani looked at each other and then decided what to do. "I know that you aren't here to spy on us since we're now out of the Pridelands and if you were here to spy on us, then you wouldn't get anything from us since it has been quite a long time." Kovu sighed and then sat down. Nala and Vitani decided to copy Kovu's action and then Kovu began to tell his story of why he and Vitani left.

Soz that the update took a long time... I like to distract myself with other things but hey. At least its better than never.
