"I should get up and go make dinner, Pat."

Logan stared down at his husband, the latter still feeling sick and now pouting at him. They had gone to the doctor's earlier that day and gotten him antibiotics for his pink eye and told his stomach would be fine if he kept taking over-the-counter medicine. With the antibiotics, once he was on them for forty-eight hours he wouldn't be contagious, so therefore the both of them could return to work on Monday.

"But then you'd have to get up, Logan..."

Logan sighed. "I know, love. You can come with me if you'd like, but it would be better for you to stay here and keep resting. Do you know what you want for dinner?"

"I still don't know what I want to eat, no."

"Well we also have a child to feed. I could heat up leftover pasta for him and I and make you toast again if you'd like."

Patton frowned. "No, not toast... uh... just regular bread. And Crofter's. Peach?"

"Alright."

Logan kissed his husband on the forehead before standing up, walking over to the kitchen, getting out their leftover pasta from a day or two ago and moving it into a microwave-safe container. He poured in a small bit of water and olive oil, mixing it around a bit before putting it in the microwave. While it was heating up he got out a few slices of bread and spread Peach Crofter's over both sides. Once the pasta was done he plated it onto two plates and sat the container in the sink. Just as he was done, he heard footsteps come behind them and soon felt arms slither around his waist, a head leaning against his back.

"Pat? I was about to join you on the couch again."

"I got lonely."

Logan sighed, turning himself around in his husband's arms. "If you go back to the couch for one moment I'll bring you your dinner and then I'll bring Joe's up to his room."

Patton smiled. "It's more fun to stand in the kitchen with you."

Logan smiled back, rolling his eyes. "Come on, love. We can cuddle as best as we can whilst we eat."

"Fine, fine."

"...So, uh, I heard about these apps that can apparently finds ghosts in your room and I wanna see if they work. Can we try that?"

Logan and Patton both looked up, towards the staircase.

"What's he talkin' about now?" Patton mumbled.

"I'm not sure. He's likely just having a conversation with Sage."

"Ah, yeah."

Logan handed Patton his food and Patton walked back over to the couch. The former grabbed one of the plates of pasta, making sure to also grab a fork and a napkin, and began up the stairs. He could hear Joe saying various things with no response back, and so he stood outside the door for a moment, a bit confused. Eventually, he knocked.

"Huh-? Oh, come in!"

Logan opened the door. Joe stared at him and then grinned- he was standing in the middle of his room, holding his phone out horizontally in front of him. There was some sort of red light on the screen.

"...May I ask what you're doing?" Logan raised an eyebrow.

"I'm trying to use one of those ghost detector apps to see if they work."
