"So, unless anyone has any questions, you all are free to go."

"I'll pay you fifteen dollars if anyone raises their hand, Joe," Remy mumbled, looking around his nibling's history classroom. He knew what being in high school was like. Only the brave asked questions.

"Ghost money doesn't exist, honey," Emile tugged Remy's sleeve.

"Mm. Whatever, I was still right."

"...No questions? Alright, go ahead and pack up."

The bell rang just then, and Remy and Emile both hung back a bit while Joe talked to his friends, eventually following them to another building and into the auditorium. Joe and Oliver began to walk to the back, where the tech stuff was, while Sage stayed near the front with the actors, and the ghosts followed the former two.

"Got anything to teach me today, then?" Oliver asked as he leaned against one of the walls in the back, Remy leaning on a wall near him and Emile just standing by. Joe smiled.

"Eh... not really. But it's good to be back here because I think they're blocking a new scene today which means we'll have to pay attention to where to shine the spotlight and stuff like that. Definitely recommend taking notes."

"That's what tech week is for, isn't it?" Remy asked. "Kid, you're just gay as hell."

"Ah, okay, that makes sense." Oliver smiled, and Remy snickered as Joe shot him a secret glare. "I didn't bring anything to write stuff down on, though."

"I'll take notes and text them to you after practice."

"Thank you!"

"Of course."

Practice started up right after that, and Remy moved himself to the closest seat in the audience, which was in front of where Joe and Oliver were standing. Emile sat next to him. They pretty much just listened in on whatever was happening behind them while also watching the actors on stage read off lines and move around.

"...Okay, that scene is done, we're gonna move on to the next one. It's gonna be the death scene of-"

"Quick Into the Woods spoiler warning for the readers, even though it's only Act 1," Remy mumbled underneath his breath.

"-The Wolf. That's gonna be the next scene in your book so take a second to figure out if you're in this scene, and if you are, come stand near the front. If you're not then you can go sit in the audience."

Remy stood up in that moment, deciding there could be a chance a kid would want to take his seat, and he sure didn't wanna get sat on. Emile followed him, and they both went and stood back with Joe and Oliver once more.

"Agh, I gotta go to the bathroom," Oliver said. "Where is it again?"

"Go out the doors we came in here from and if you keep walking to the right, you'll find it eventually."

"Thank you. I'm just not in this building enough to know, I guess," Oliver smiled sheepishly, before running off. Joe sighed and went to stand next to his ghost uncles.

"Hah, I bet you can have some sympathy for The Wolf in this scene," Joe whispered, looking over at Remy.

"...Sympathy? Barely even know what that word means."

"Well, it's The Wolf's death scene, and The Baker is gonna stab him, like, y'know, you did to yourself?"

Remy hummed, glancing at his chest where he knew his stab wound was for a moment. He didn't want to talk about this. Joe wasn't supposed to know who actually stabbed him.

"Hmm. Hey, what happens in the scene after this one?"

Joe raised an eyebrow. "Uh... I don't know. Do you not wanna talk about The Wolf or something?"

"You should look in your book and see what happens in the next scene."

Joe was silent for a moment.

"...Well, I guess this scene and your death are kind of different since The Wolf doesn't stab himself in this thing."

"Really curious about that next scene, Joe."

Joe sighed, and walked over to his book, nodding, and apparently just deciding to let the conversation go.

"Dads, I'm home," Joe called out as he entered his home. Remy and Emile floated in behind him, watching as his dads noticed his presence and soon enough got him to sit at the kitchen table for dinner. The two parents sat down as well, while Remy and Emile just stood behind their nibling.

"How was practice?" Patton asked.

"Pretty good. Normal, really, but nothing that interesting is gonna happen until later on, I guess. I don't technically have to be there until tech week."

"And yet you show up so you have the ability to talk to your crush for longer than you usually would have the time to, is that correct?" Logan asked, smirking a bit. Joe rolled his eyes and smiled.

"...Maybe."

"You really are like your parents sometimes, kid," Remy mumbled. He went over behind Logan, staring at him for a moment before putting his hands on his shoulders in the best way he could as a ghost. Logan shivered, and Remy chuckled, moving his hands away.

"Damn... it would be hilarious if I started talking to him. Just whispering shit in his ear. That would make him go crazy."

"That's a bad idea, Rem," Emile said, going to stand next to him.

"You never let me do anything fun."

"That's because your idea of fun is damaging the mental state of the people you don't like."

"Well, yeah, no shit. But come on. Please?"

"No, Remy."

"Ugh. Fine."

Remy pursed his lips for a moment, before looking over at Logan again. He waved a hand through his neck, and once again, Logan shivered.

"...Is there a draft in here?" Logan asked. Remy laughed.

"I don't feel anything," Patton replied.

"Odd..."

"You really sound like you're contemplating your own existence with that last word, Logan," Remy commented, even though Logan couldn't hear him. "Huh. And you probably were. Guess that answers all that."
