Lines - Vinnie Hacker

The lights flashed as the music blasted, everyone either out of their face or in another dimension. Very few of us were sober, but even then we were having the time of our lives. I watched from across the room as the boys were ordering shots, so of course I sprinted over and sat myself beside Vinnie. "Add some for me" I smiled to the waiter, who showed a smile and walked away to get our drinks.

"Did I tell you how hot you looked tonight." Vinnie said, his lips by my ear so I could hear him. I smiled, my bottom lip between me teeth as I blushed. "Ayo we should play truth or strip" Bryce shouted, clearly already drunk - and has been since noon. Everyone at the table shouted in rejection as our waiter came with shots. "Another night" Blake shouted, before gulping down the liquid. 

A few shots later and most of us were gone, Vinnie and I have a high tolerance for alcohol so we don't actually feel anything. I saw some of the girls come running over and I knew I was going to disappear with them. "Sorry fellas, but we have to borrow her" Nessa shouted, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the bathroom before any of the boys could comment. 

I laughed when she dragged me into the bathroom, the rest of the girls on the floor which made me slightly concerned. "Are they okay?" I asked laughing and leaning over to Nessa who was actually no longer beside me. I looked over the see her at the counter, a small packet in her hands. "You guys know that I don't do that shit" I said studying the content of the packet. The girls got up, most of the tipsy as they stumbled over to the counter. 

I leant against the wall as I watched them, not willing to participate. I was okay with alcohol or weed, but I never saw myself ever doing hard core drugs. "Look I know you don't like this stuff" Nessa started, walking over to me as the drug started to hit her system. "But I got you a few grams" She handed my the bag and continued to speak before I could protest. "It's for you and Vinnie, it will make the sex amazing" She said, her eyes rolling back as she imagined it - her and Josh of course. 

"Whose saying Vinnie is shit in bed?" I said, acting offended for him as he wasn't here to do it for himself. "Y/n we are roommates, I know he's good because I hear everything." She said laughing and making me laugh. "Trust me" She said handing me it and letting me put it in my bag, contemplating the idea. I left them in the bathroom and made my way back to the table, sitting back down beside Vinnie. "What was that about?" He asked, his lips back by my ear. "A surprise" I said, kissing against his cheek.

I had made my decision and I wanted to go through with this. If I was ever gonna do it it might as well be with the person I trust most in this world. 

Vinnie pushed the door open, his lips fighting against mine as my legs stayed circled round his waist. We laughed against each others lips as we kicked our shoes off, his hands holding me up as mine played with his hair. I held my small bag tightly as he walked up to his bedroom, kicking his door shut behind him. Everyone else went back to Bryce's house but Vinnie and I broke away from the crowd to come here. 

"What was the surprise" Vinnie mumbled against my lips as he sat down on the bed, my legs still round him. I took a breath and pulled the small bag out my purse, his eyes widening as he looked at me. "You sure?" He said, his hands resting on the small of my back. "I trust you and you've done this before" I said laughing nervously as he pecked my lips.

Vinnie took the bag as I rolled off his lap, he sat down at the little table at the end of his bed and extended his hand for mine. I took it and sat down beside him, watching intently as he lay 6 lines of the substance. He took a one dollar bill from the edge of the table and rolled it up. I felt a little nervous as it was actually happening and I wasn't imagining it anymore. I watched intensively as he put the dollar to his nose and breathed in the drug, a smile creeping across his face.
