"Dude what have you done" I shouted out, my voice ringing through the large house as I searched for my brother. The notifications constantly appearing on my phone as the news of Chase and Nessa broke out. "What do you mean?" I heard him shout back, letting me know which general direction to walk in. The anger surging through me as I approached him, knowing just how much he has hurt so many people.

"How could you?!" I exclaimed, my outburst causing him to take a step back before thinking of his next words.  "It's literally not that big a deal?" His nonchalant attitude was starting to aggravate me. "Bro, even I know this is a big deal" I heard a voice from behind me, Alex's to be precise.

The Hype House, where my brother lived, slowly started to swarm with floods of paparazzi outside, as well as angry Sway Boys - including Josh. I've always had a little crush on him, I never said anything as he was in a relationship and I didn't want to lose him as a friend. When I heard what Chase had done my heart hurt for him, I can't imagine the betrayal he's experiencing right now.  I stood by the window, looking down at the pool of bodies walking around the road - the flashes of cameras pointing up to us.

"Stay here, and for the love of God - do not say anymore." I pointed at him, channeling our mothers temper in my tone. "Don't tell me what to do" He argued back, raising his voice at me. "When you can learn to keep it in your pants, and not make stupid decisions - then and only then will I stop telling you what to do" I gritted my teeth as I looked at him, a wave of disgust hitting me.  "I can't even look at you right now" I muttered as I started to walk downstairs to the front door, planning my escape from this whole situation. I could hear the voices outside as I approached the door, turning the handle and closing it behind me as I made my way home.

Suddenly, I was blinded by the light from camera and random people asking me all sorts of questions. "Hey y/n, so as Chase's sister how do you feel about this situation?" I heard a low voice, but I was not sure who was even talking to me. I lifted my hand to shield my eyes from the repetitive flashing, the light beginning to leave coloured spots in my vision. "Is your friendship with Josh still strong, or does he hate you too?" This was a different voice, from some arrogant man who doesn't have a happy life - what a rude fucking question.

"I'm not answering any of your questions, and please don't speculate when you don't know the entire story." I snapped, making my way out of the crowd and heading towards my car. It annoyed me how middle aged men and women were so invested in our lives, making money off our mistakes and misery. I managed to create some distance between me and the group of evil vultures, letting me calm down. As I got closer my eyes made contact with a familiar blue pair - Josh.

I stopped in my track, my expression softening as I saw him - his eyes lighting up slightly as he saw me. I began making my way over to him, keeping up a jogging pace so I could make sure he was okay. My arms wrapped around his neck as he took me in a tight hug, his arms trapping me round my waist as the familiar scent of him filled my senses. I know it's probably not appropriate right now, but I couldn't help the butterflies swarming in my tummy as his breath tickled my neck where his head was buried. We stayed there for what felt like forever - it was realistically maybe 2 minutes - the warmth from his body heating me up as the cool nighttime breeze engulfed us.

"I'm so sorry-" I started, my voice came out in a whisper as I tired to talk to him, however I was quickly cut off. "You don't have the apologize for him y/n, it wasn't your fault" His voice was soft, his hands still resting on the small of my back as we continued to hug. It was never awkward with Josh, always comfortable and this was no different. I pulled away to look into his eyes, allowing him to see I was truthful. "I had no idea, I came to shout at him as soon as I found out. I know I should've texted you straight away but I just needed to find out if it was true" I trailed off, feeling more guilty than anything.
