Vinnie's POV

"Which ones should we, hm?" I asked our sweet little girl. Y/n gave birth to our beautiful baby girl over 4 years ago - our little Sarah Hacker. "The pink ones" She exclaimed, pointing rapidly at this gorgeous bouquet of pink and white lilies, with other kinds mixed into it. I smiled down at her, running my hand through her soft hair and smiling before picking up the flowers. 

"Do you wanna carry them?" I asked, handing them down to her. She nodded her head quickly, a huge smile spread on her face as her small hands clasped around them, holding them out in front of her as we went to get y/n her favourite chocolates. 

Y/n's birthday birthday was coming up, so Sarah and I woke up extra early to go buy her last minute presents, along with what I had already got her. I kept a close eye on Sarah as she walked ahead of me slightly, leading the way even though she had no idea where she was going. "This way princess" I laughed, turning her body into the right isle. I picked out y/n's favourite chocolates and candy's, putting them into the basket as Sarah picked out a sweet for herself. 

"Dada, look" She giggled, holding up a sweet and pulling her puppy eyes. "Can I get it please?" She asked, looking up at me. I nodded my head, holding out the basket so she could drop the sweetie into it. I held her hand as we walked to the check-out, scanning our items as I payed. 

Your POV

I groaned, waking up and rolling over to feel the bed cold beside me. I pouted slightly, opening my eyes to see a little note on Vinnie's pillow. 

good morning beautiful,
Sarah and I are at the store, we will be back soon.
I love you <3

I smiled as I read the scribbled writing, rolling out of bed and going to the bathroom to freshen up. 

Vinnie's POV

I moved Sarah car seat into the front, strapping her in before getting in myself. "You excited to go see mommy?" I asked her, pulling out of the car park and driving back to our home. She nodded her head, to engrossed with eating her sweetie. I laughed at how cute she was, she had my curly hair dirty blonde hair and eyes, but she had her mother smile. I never thought it was possible to love two people this much. 

Your POV

I smiled as I heard the car pulling up in the drive way and the door being unlocked, I quickly threw one of Vinnie's tops over my head and over my underwear - which was fine because it ended mid thigh. 

"Mommy!" I heard my little girls voice echo through the house. "Mommy!" She shouted again as I walked down the stairs. " We bought to pink flowers" She exclaimed, stumbling slightly over her words as a bright smile beamed on her little face. "You did" I replied, my voice soft as I reached the bottom of the stairs and saw my husband standing behind our beautiful daughter. "Can I give them to you?" She asked, her eyes widening as she ran to the sofa to get the flowers. 

"Can I give them to her?" She repeated, looking up to Vinnie as she held them in her small grip. "Of course" He nodded his head, running his hands through her hair. I knelt down so I could be at her height, watching proudly as she walked over to me with a bounce in her step. "Happy birthday mommy" She smiled, holding out these beautiful pink and white lilies.  I smiled, my eyes watering a bit as I looked at her, her little nails still painted pink from our girls night in. 

"Thank you baby, these are beautiful" I smiled, taking the flowers out of her hands. I smiled as she ran way again, moving my gaze to Vinnie as he watched both of us. I laughed as she ran back in with a bag of my favourite chocolates and candy's, even though she was struggling to hold up the back. I smiled as a single tear rolled down my cheek which Sarah noticed, making ehr drop the bag and walk to me. 

"Don't cry mommy" She pouted, wiping away my tear to the best of her ability. This was my first birthday were Sarah could walk, and her speech has gotten so much better which was making it even more special to me. "You're pretty, stop" She laughed, pushing my cheeks up to try and make a smile appear on my face.

"Mommy loves you so much" I exclaimed, placing the flowers down and picking her up in a hug. She giggled and screamed as I spun her around in my grasp. "I love you mommy" She smiled, her small arms having a tight grip around my neck as she hugged me. I held her close, not understanding how I could love her this much. I signalled for Vinnie to come over to us, which he did. 

He hugged into my side as Sarah reached out for him, her hands squishing his cheeks as I held her up. "I love you too daddy" She smiled, placing a kiss on his nose. "I love you" He returned the favour, pressing his lips against her forehead and making her chuckle. 

Vinnie quickly left to go put the candy away and the flowers in some water, leaving Sarah in my arms. She yawned loudly, rubbing her eyes afterward. "You tired?" I asked, rubbing my hand up and down her back. She nodded her head and hugged back into me. "Let's go have a nap then" I smiled, taking her upstairs with me. 

Once in her room, I stood her by the end of her little bed, pulling her pink dress over her head before laying her down. I took of her shoes and sock, blowing a raspberry onto the soul of her foot and making her giggle. "Go grab a bear" I smiled, pointing to her small collection of stuffed animals. She picked out the big brown bear that Vinnie's parents bought her at Christmas. 

I lifted her covers up, letting her curl into the bear as I tucked her in. "Nightlight?" I asked, making her nod her head as she yawned again. I smiled, turning on the blue light which lit up her bedroom ceiling like a starry night. "I love you princess" I mumbled quietly, kissing her forehead as I left her to sleep. 

I smiled when I saw Vinnie standing in the door of her room, his arms extended for me as he pulled me into a hug. "I got one more present" He mumbled, pulling me out of her room as I shut the door over. "You didn't need to, you and Sarah are everything I need" I smiled, following him through to our room. 

"I wanted to get you this though" He smiled, holding out a small rectangular shaped box which was wrapped atrociously I might say. "I know, I suck at wrapping" He laughed as I sat on the bed, taking the gift off him. I smiled as I unwrapped it, seeing a small scrap book with a photo of Sarah, Vinnie and I on the front. "What is it?" I asked, as I opened it. 

"The passed 5 years of our life" He stated as I looked through the photos. It started with Vinnie and I when I fell pregnant, then all the time spent being pregnant, then Sarah's first day home, her first birthday, second birthday, all the major events from the past 5 years of our life together. I smiled as more tears fell down my face. 

"Thank you" I mumbled, falling back into his grasp as he hugged me. "Happy birthday beautiful" He smiled, looking through the photo's with me as we relived these past few years...
