Non Nobis Tantum Nati

Natures Matrimony

With the suns light brightening all around

and all the beauty so easily found

and so noticeable as rainbows comes from the ground

we notice the colours so vibrant and alive

nature paying us their tithe

a payment of beauty everlasting

and smells always blasting

their aromas forcefully farther

from the gardens to soap lather

and then from these far reaching scents

we see bees by royalty sent

spreading life without awareness

just doing what benefits them in fairness

but where would we be

without these pollinating bees

without the flowers or the trees

or the rivers running free

but then I don't think we

really are able to foresee

the consequences of the loss of these

but we can all hope that we will never discover

where we would be without those that hover

and everything that gives us life

in a beautiful partnership as husband and wife
