"You will be continuing, right?"
Classes had finally resumed today but you were here visiting Aiko.
"I talked with the other teachers and Nezu about it," you said. "I'll return and tell the students, and continue if they still accept me."
"That's good." She adjusted the quirk restraint cuffs on her wrists and smiled at you from behind the glass. "The students will forgive you, I'm sure."
You shrugged. "How's Katsumi and Miki?"
"I'm sure they'll be relieved when I tell them you're alright. I can't believe they separated us by gender," she grumbled. Then in a softer tone, "They're really sorry for what they did. I know that doesn't fix anything, but...."
"As long as they realized." You smiled. "Turning themselves in was right."
"It did get us shorter sentences," Aiko said, looking at the bright side. She then smirked. "So how's it going between you and Eraserhead?"
"Nunya business!" You laughed, avoiding the question. You could feel a faint blush creeping up to your cheeks. "Anyway, I should get going, classes began already and I'm only here because I was allowed to come in late."
She chuckled, then nodded. "Delaying the inevitable, I see. See you later, then!"

You'd be weirded out or grossed out if this wasn't a normal thing for them to be able to do, but....
Tsuyu's tongue stretched at least 20 times around two trees, while Ethan's tongue went around 40 times on another two trees equally spaced apart.
The two unwound their tongues, unfazed by the gawking stares of the other students, though both seemed a bit embarrassed.
You punched Mineta, who was most likely fantasizing about Tsuyu's tongue with a drool on his face, into the ground.
"So what's going on?" you asked curiously to Shota, having just arrived at the school grounds outside. The students haven't noticed you yet, which may be a good thing at the moment since they would crowd over you when they do.
"The kids were curious," he grumbled, turning to you. "Since Tsuyu is a frog and Ethan is a chameleon." He huffed annoyedly. "Fucking chameleon."
"Hey, be nice. His chameleon features are amazing." You waved at the students and Ethan. "Didn't know you could do that."
He laughed half-heartedly. "People were always grossed out by it."
Having just now noticed you, the students rushed to you, surprised, relieved, and excited.
"You're back!"
"You're safe!"
"We missed you!"
Oh, if only they knew what you were going to tell them. You smiled at them, ruffling their hair.
"You ready?" Shota asked you, tone soft. You nodded, but still uncertain. He sighed, then patted you on the shoulder. "All you need is acceptance."
"Glad to be back." You laughed, but your expression dropped after a bit of the excitement. "I've got something to tell you...."
The students finally quieted after a flash of red from Shota.
You took a deep breath, and started explaining everything... almost everything. Your close relationship with the villains, how Tomura Shigaraki, the man who almost killed them, was a brother to you. Sensei, the man that All Might fought that you had looked up to for so long. The other villain group making Nomu and you knowing about it. You formerly being a spy. Not exactly doing your job, Shota had put in quickly. You kept Ethan's relationship with them quiet, but he silently raised a hand and said "I was part of the Nomu-making group. I'm sorry." He knew sorry wouldn't change anything. Just like you did.
The students were silent for a moment, leaving you anxious. "I... I do hope you can all forgive me for what I've done." You looked down, unable to face them.
Before you could turn away and let the silence be the answer, Midoriya spoke up.
"I forgive you, Mx. [L/N]." He smiled at you. "Regardless of what you did... you still protected us and taught us and cared for us and saved us, especially me, Todoroki, and Iida, and you also changed some of those villains—we saw it on the news, the ones that were at the summer camp—and if you are able to see a brother in... Shigaraki, I'm sure you're a good person, deep down, and—"
"Oi, shut up, nerd," Bakugo interrupted angrily. His angry face calmed down just a tad when he faced you, though. "He's said enough."
Iida nodded furiously, arms moving up and down, trying to think of words that Midoriya had not said but settling on, "Of course we'd forgive you! We appreciate all that you have done for us and nothing can change that!"
The others jumped in, agreeing and brushing aside the crimes you've committed. You stared at them dumbfounded as they moved on to Ethan, who was almost going to turn invisible out of fear and shame of what the students would say or do.
"See," Shota said, giving you a smile. "They still accept you."
You pursed your lips, feeling tears well up in your eyes. Damnit. You loved them too much.

You shared a room with Shota, which thankfully the students hadn't noticed yet.
"You should try sleeping again," Shota suggested, getting ready for bed. It had been a long day, having been a long time since the students got together with each other. All their pent up energy was released and you and Shota had taken it all. "You look tired."
"Not tired enough," you said, yawning despite those words. "All that sleep during the coma stored up enough energy to last me even longer without sleep!" you said, half-jokingly. But you sat down on the bed next to him.
Shota chuckled, giving you a kiss before lying down. "Being asleep and being unconscious are two different things."
You smiled, shrugging. You took a glance over the table full of papers, then to your phone.
Tomura:
I'm sorry.You sighed.
That was the final thing he sent you, a few days before you woke up. You had sent him multiple texts after, but he never responded. You desperately hoped that he was alright.
Sensei has been defeated, but you were afraid that you were too late and his mind had been corrupted. Of all people, why couldn't you help him?
A gentle touch on your arm interrupted your thoughts. Shota clasped your hand in his. "We'll figure it out. I promise."
You smiled, lying down and giving him another kiss. "Yeah."
You closed your eyes, allowing the sleep to take you for the first time in years. It was unfamiliar, but Shota's gentle touches and warmth, and the feeling of acceptance, lulled you to sleep.
There were no more nightmares.
