"Nope, not one of them could find him," Eraser answered dully. You gave Midnight a smug look and she gave you a grin, not backing out.

"Technically, you said that you doubted that the students and the heroes would be able to find him," Midnight said innocently. "We can play this game as well then, right?"

"What? You bet on my skills?" Ethan laughed. He had just been introduced to Midnight. You rolled your eyes at Midnight's claim.

At the end of the school day Midnight had come by one of the training grounds to check up on the results. The place was large, with quite a few buildings and places to hide. Present Mic was also there, hearing of the news and caught up on this bet.

"Yeah, I said that and she bet dinner on it."

"I mean, thanks for having confidence in me." He chuckled. "But she's right on the students learning quickly and being determined. Shoji and Jiro were really close to finding me."

"Not even the other hero class was able to do this challenge," you said. You laughed and asked Ethan dramatically, "Do you accept her challenge, Ethan?"

"What was the time limit?" Midnight asked before he could answer, as if checking if she could actually beat him before he accepted the challenge. "And how long can you hold your breath?"

"The time limit was ten minutes per team of two. I can hold my breath for almost twenty minutes if I'm focusing and relaxed, but I was told I had to return to normal once in a while to at least give them a chance."

"I was thinking I could use my quirk and spread it, but I realized you'd be holding your breath." Midnight sighed, then looked to Eraser with a mischievous grin. "Hey Eraser, you want to join in on this game?"

"No."

"C'mon...." You watched as she walked over to him and whispered something in his ear. You heard something about sushi and cats, but didn't get the full thing.

A moment later Eraser glared at her and mumbled an agreement.

"Alright!" Midnight cheered. "I haven't played hide and seek in so long, this is going to be fun!" She looked like a kid ready to play a new, exciting game, and in a way she was. "What about you, Mic?"

He nodded his head excitedly. "I bet that this chameleon man will win!"

"Hey!" Midnight frowned at him. "You'd be searching for him too, you better not lose on purpose!"

"I'm paying for dinner if you lose," you whispered to Ethan as the two heroes argued. "So you better not."

He chuckled. "I wouldn't be here if I got caught easily." He smirked at the pro-heroes and declared just as dramatically as you, "I accept your challenge, Midnight!"

Midnight nodded at him, and opened her mouth to say something.

"If I win you owe me dinner as well." Ethan said quickly.

Midnight growled out playfully and gave him a snarky grin. "Fine, fine. Mic, are you sure you're betting that he'll win?"

"I saw his quirk, I think he's pretty good!" His eyes peered over his glasses at Ethan. "I think he'll win."

"How dare you," Midnight snorted, feigning hurt. She pointed at the wall of a building. "I'll start counting there." She quickly ran there, with a sort of hop to her step.

"This'll be fun," you commented. "And also satisfying when you pay for all of our dinner, Midnight."

"Yeah, right." She smiled. "And no need to be so formal. Call me Kayama. It'd be weird since you both don't have a hero name."

"Yamada," Present Mic added. "We're not in 'hero mode' either."

It was true, they were both out of hero uniforms as it was after school hours and they didn't have any immediate hero work to do.

Yamada's casual clothes had you almost miss him, as he was unrecognizable when you first saw him. His hair was down and his speaker was off. His hero costume was also changed to a more casual one. There were only the mountain eyebrows and mustache that made him recognizable.

Kayama's lack of fancy glasses and casual clothes was also a sight. The simple black and grey clothes suited her.

Kayama let out a satisfied sigh. She had a look on her face similar to one in a daydream. "This is like reminiscing our childhood." Kayama stood with her hands on her hips confidently.

"We might as well do multiple rounds with Ethan as the seeker for fun," you said before she started. You smiled at the energy she had. You rarely got to be around people like these and you were actually excited to play this game.

"I thought hide and seek was a children's game," Ethan commented. "But now that I think about it, it's much more fun the older you are since you can go places you can't when you were younger."

"Maybe that's why she wants to play it so much," Yamada said jokingly. "She just wants to feel young again!"

"What about you, Yamada?" You sat down on the grass, waiting. Eraser was off to the side, and you could tell he really didn't want to be here. He would probably be long gone if it weren't for whatever Kayama told him.

"I'm free today apart from my radio show tonight, and I thought I'd join in on the fun! I wouldn't skip free food either." He chuckled at Kayama's pout.

"I have a patrol in a few hours." Eraser's arms were crossed as usual as he watched the four of you converse. He stuck out like a sore thumb among you five. "Are you starting?"

"Are we doing one at a time or all at once?" Kayama asked.

"Try one at a time. If that doesn't work then all at once." Ethan seemed extremely confident as he waited.

Numbers came out of her mouth and Ethan realized she was starting to count down.

"Wait what, you're just starting like that?" Ethan chuckled, then took a deep breath, preparing to run off somewhere. However, he didn't turn invisible. You glanced at Eraser and sure enough, his eyes were red and his hair was floating.

"That's cheating," you called out. "You close your eyes too."

He tutted, grumbling a "fucking chameleon" before closing his eyes, hair falling down.

Since you could see Ethan, you didn't want to accidentally give him away. It was a good thing you were used to avoiding doing that thanks to the exercise with the students.

The three seekers finished in a few seconds, and you started the timer for ten minutes. This was going to be fun.
