the moment.

You woke up to your owl, Artemis, tapping on your head to get your attention.

You rubbed your eyes and sat up slowly. Your headd didn't hurt as much, but your body was still aching.

You looked around the room for anyone, but there was no one there. Silence. Still no Sirius or Remus.

You sighed and buried your face into your hands, starting to tear up again. Artemis tapped on you again, making a chirping sound.

You looked up. "What is it Artemis?" you said, slightly annoyed. She held her leg out, and you realized there was something on it.

There was a small white envelope, as well as a small bottle, which appeared to be some kind of potion.

You turned the bottle over and smiled. Wolfsbane. The next full moon was in a couple days, clearly someone knew. You took the letter off of Artemis’ leg, and she fluttered away, out the open window.

Looking at the letter, you wondered who it was from. You turned it over and read the front.

To: (y/n)   From: Remus.

You smiled as you read the name. Sirius must have talked to him, you thought.

You opened the envelope carefully, trying not to rip the note inside. You pulled out the note and read it.

"(Y/n),
      I'm sorry for running out on you like that. I should have listened to you first, I just panicked and got upset. Me and Sirius will be there soon, I'm just gonna get ready. I have a surprise for you. See you soon, darling.
          Love, Remus.

You stared at the note for a moment, then smiled brightly, and squealed a little bit. He's coming back!! You couldn't be happier. You thought you had lost him, to be quite honest. You weren't sure if he'd ever come back.

You sat up in the bed, waiting patiently for them to show up. A million thoughts still rushed through your mind.

What did Sirius tell him? What's the surprise? Do you think he still likes me?

Just as you were about to lie back down, you heard a knock at the door.

"(Y/n)?" You looked up to see Sirius standing at the door. "Hi Padfoot." you turned and smiled. He walked in, and looked behind him.

You looked as well, and your eyes widened as you saw Remus standing at the door. You sat up, and attempted to stand up. "Rems.." you smiled, as you managed to stand up, but got dizzy. Remus ran over, wrapping his arms around you, so you didn't fall.

"(Y/n) I'm so sorry." He placed his hands on your face. "I'm sorry I ran off like that. I just got so upset.." he began to speak, but you quickly cut him off.

"Rems, it's okay..im just glad you came back." you smiled. He sighed, and smiled slightly, admiring you for a moment. Sirius cleared his throat and you both turned to him.

"I'm gonna give you two some alone time. G'night." he said waving, and walking out. You both said goodnight to him as he left, and then turned back to each other.

Remus put his arms around you, and hugged you tightly for a moment, then pulled away slowly. "(Y/n), I have something for you." he smiled and walked over to one of the tables by the door.

You looked at him. "What is it?" He smiled and walked up to you with a basket in his hand."Well, this is a present for you. It's got all kinds of things in it that you like." You take the basket from him and smile, as you look through it."Rems..thank you. I love it so much." you smiled.

He smiles and holds your hand gently.

"Oh, and I have one more gift..."
