full moon ~ remus lupin x reader

the hospital wing.

You wake up, slowly coming to your senses. You open your eyes, and look around. It appears you're in some kind of hospital bed.

You try to sit up, but groan as you feel a stab of pain coming from your stomach. Then you froze, as you realized. "Oh, no...what if they saw it? The gash on your stomach? What if Remus saw it?" you said in your head, as you panicked.

"It's probably best if you lie down for now." you heard a lady's voice say from the other side of the room. You look over and see her standing there with medical supplies in her hands, filling the shelves.

You lift your shirt to check your stomach, and see that it has been re-bandaged. Oh, bloody hell. "Did anyone else see my stomach?" you were shaking, worrying. Hoping, praying, that Remus didn't see it. Anyone but him. You knew for sure if he saw it, he's freak out and ask questions...and you would have no choice but to tell him. You didn't want him to know you're true self. You thought he would never talk to you again if he found out what you are.

"No, don't worry Miss Y/n. Remus was in here earlier, but he left to go to dinner. I hadn't noticed it till it started bleeding through your shirt, shortly after, so I re-bandaged it for you."

You sighed in relief. "Now may I ask why you don't want anyone to know about this wound of yours? I don't share secrets." she said, with a sad smile. You looked at her with defeat x and sighed.

"Well...i-im a werewolf and there was a full moon last night. I had forgotten to take my potion...and apparently  when I turned, I ran out of the house, and into the woods. I don't remember anything at all from that night, except waking up with this." you said, your eyes filling with tears.

You couldn't bear to think about what could have possibly happened that night. The same thing just kept playing over and over in your head: "I'm a monster. I'm a monster. I'm a monster...."

"Oh, dear. I'm sorry, sweetie. I can ttl how you're feeling, and just know, you're safe here so don't worry. We still treat you the same, and care about you the same, no matter what. It's not like you can control it." she smiled, and handed you a mug of pumpkin juice. "Beside, you aren't the only one. You'll find that there are some other werewolves here as well, maybe even people you wouldn't expect." she said, grinning and walking away.

You questioned what she said, in your head. You wandered who else was a werewolf here...you finally decided not to think about it too much.

Besides, it's probably best to get some rest, since last night you'd didn't really get much. You drifted off, thinking of Remus again...you never had someone be so nice to you before. He really cared about you.

Your parents never really cared for you that much. They were always afraid you'd hurt them. You really had never forgot to take your potion on a full moon night, but you were told busy getting ready for Hogwarts, you had forgotten..

You finally fall asleep, getting a good rest for the first time in a while..
