*Moony's POV*

I woke up with (y/n) snuggled next to me, fast asleep. I was happy to see that she had gotten some sleep, especially after the nightmare last night. I examined her arm, where she was clawing at herself when she was having the nightmare last night.

I ran my finger along the scratch, sighing sadly. I felt terrible that she hurt herself like this.

I checked the clock, and it was about 7 am. I slowly got up, trying not to wake her, and went to my dorm. As I opened the door, I heard a voice and nearly jumped out of my skin.

"MoOny is tHat yOu?" said a very puzzled and very sleepy voice. I sighed. "Padfoot, you scared the bloody hell out of me. Be quiet." I said, walking over to my bed. Not even a minute later, I could hear faint snores coming from Sirius’ bed.

I rolled my eyes, then got changed, and grabbed my bag. I was about to walk out when Sirius had woken up again. "Moony where are you going?" he said, quietly.

I turned, looking at him slightly. "I'm going down to Hogsmeade to get something special for (y/n). So do NOT say anything. And no, I'm not telling you what I'm getting, because I do not trust that you might run your mouth." I said, walking out. I could hear him scoff, as I walked down the stairs.

It was early and people would be waking up soon, so I hurried out before anyone saw. I headed down to Hogsmeade, and clutched my bad tightly in my hand, as the cold breeze blew in my face. I went throughout Hogsmeade, getting all kinds of things for her. I wanted to surprise her, because I'm ready. Or..at least I think I am.

I'm ready to ask her to be my girlfriend...I have to. I can't wait any longer. I think I love her. Those kisses..they weren't nothing. Those cuddles, small rants, the comfort and warmth, all the little things. They aren't nothing. All of it was pure happiness with her. I need her.

**

I got everything I needed, and headed to the main place I was here for. To get her the main gift. I bought it, which costed quite a lot, and put everything neatly into a beautiful lavender colored basket. It took almost the whole day to make this for her, but I didn't mind.

By the time I was done, it was about 2 pm. I carefully placed the main, more important, gift in my coat pocket, as I would give it to her last.

I held the basket tightly, and headed back to the castle.
