(a/n: this chapter is gonna focus more on the other characters because I needed a way to introduce some more and intertwine their storylines so sorry if that's a little disappointing, but I had to switch gears a little for everything to make sense haha)
[ Robby's POV ]
I walked into the Cobra Kai dojo and everyone was staring at me. I had been out skating for a little while, and lost track of time so I was running a couple of minutes late.
"KEENE!" Kreese shouted as I walked through the front door.
"Nice of you to finally join us. FALL IN!"
I quickly ran to the back and put on my gi then did exactly as he said.
"Are you trying to make him angry?" Tory whispered to me.
"I'm sorry I lost track of time."
"Whatever. Just don't be late again."
I rolled my eyes. Tory and I had been getting a lot closer now, but sometimes she treated me like a child and it was frustrating. I wanted to tell her about my plan to take down Cobra Kai, but I was worried she was already too far in to go along with it. I knew I had to gain her trust if I wanted this to end well.
[ Tory's POV ]
Something had seemed really off about Robby lately, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. I knew how much he missed that bitch Sam, but, it felt like it was more than just that.
"Hey me and a couple of the guys were gonna hit up the arcade later. Wanna come?" I asked him, bumping his shoulder with a smirk on my face.
"Maybe another time. I'm feeling pretty tired today actually. Do you think we could hang out tomorrow? Maybe, just us?"
I felt butterflies in my stomach. I had a small crush on Robby ever since he joined Cobra Kai and I was hoping he felt the same. Everything was so complicated though that it seemed beyond unrealistic for us to be together and I still missed Miguel, even though he didn't care about me as much as I cared about him.
I wanted to focus on caring for my mom without all the boy drama, but it seemed to just follow me wherever I went.
"Yeah I could do that. Where?"
"Well, the skatepark is usually pretty empty around 7, so we could walk there after training if you want."
"Sounds good to me," I smiled and walked away to get all of my things.
Kreese was strict, but he always let me leave early to take care of my mom. A lot of the Cobra Kai students were growing weary of him, especially after Hawk left Cobra Kai, but they needed to know that he was on our side. He may have been tough, but he just wanted to see us succeed and he was the only one who really knew how to win.
I kind of missed the old Cobra Kai members, but I had to stay loyal to Kreese if I wanted to win in the end. They were all traitors anyway so if they wanted to talk to me, they'd just have to deal with my fists first.
