It was the next day and Demetri and I had hung out after school for a couple hours and now I was heading back to my house to meet up with Miguel. Demetri and I had just been playing video games and doing schoolwork, but Miguel texted me saying he needed to talk so I had to leave early.
I arrived at Miguel's house and knocked and he immediately opened the door dragging me into his room.
"Dude chill out what's your problem?" I said after Miguel slammed his bedroom door behind us.
"I think I may have heard something I shouldn't have man and I'M FREAKING OUT!"
"Well what is it?"
"I- I don't think I should tell you I just, I need advice, this could literally change everything and I definitely am not supposed to know about it," Miguel said pacing around his room flailing his arms like a lunatic.
"HEY!" I screamed and he immediately stopped in his tracks and looked at me.
"Ok, now just breathe and think about it for a second. Are you sure you can't tell me?"
"Oh yeah I'm sure. This is like BIG dude..."
"Ok well if that's the case then what do you want from me," I said in a stern tone trying to get him to actually give me some useful information.
"Like I said I just need advice! Do you think I should tell someone?"
"Well I can't really answer that if I don't know what IT is that you're hiding!"
[ Miguels's POV ]
I continued pacing trying to get all my thoughts straight. I knew I was screwed if anyone found out I knew and I knew if Hawk knew I knew and they knew I told him that I knew... everything would go to HELL. But I couldn't just do nothing. This secret was eating away at me and I couldn't just keep it to myself. I took a long deep breath and rubbed my hands across my face then sat down next to Hawk.
"You can trust me you know that right?" Hawk said looking at me.
"I know. It's just- it's Sam she-"
"She..."
"Well I overheard her talking on the phone and..."
"AND?"
"Robby's... not actually with Cobra Kai."
*2 hours earlier*
[ Robby's POV ]
Tory had just left my house after we had an argument like always and I was pretty pissed. She wasn't as easy to talk to as Sam was and I just missed it. I really liked Tory, but Sam was something special. She always listened to me and knew exactly what to say...
Without even realizing it I had dialed Sam's number on my phone and my eyes bulged out of my skull when I saw what I was doing.
"Hello? Who is this?" I heard Sam talking from the other end of the line.
"S-Sam?"
"Yeah, who is this?"
"It's... it's Robby."
"Robby?" Sam whispered. I heard her immediately start walking.
"Yeah sorry, I- I can hang up I didn't mean to-"
"No, no it's fine I just feel like it's not the safest to be talking with you right now considering..." she said in a whisper barely audible to me.
"Where are you right now?"
"My house, but Miguel's here. He's talking outside with my dad right now though and their talks always take forever."
