34 ~ Party Blues Pt. 2

[ Demetri's POV ]

"Eli, Eli, focus on my voice, you're gonna be ok."

I knew Eli didn't want anyone to know the secrets he had, but I couldn't bear to watch him suffering so much. There were tears in his eyes and he looked absolutely terrified. His breaths were growing more frantic by the second and nothing was calming him down.

"Hey Eli, I'm here, I'm right here," I said, but his eyes were darting all around the room at everyone staring.

I saw Miguel standing near the front of the crowd with a worried look on his face, but I signaled to him that I could handle it and he didn't engage. I looked back to Eli and tears were streaming down his face and he looked like he had seen a ghost. I placed my hand on his leg and looked directly in his eyes, but he looked everywhere else, but at me.

"Hey, hey try and slow your breathing," I said, panicking not knowing what to do.

"I- I can't. I can't," he said in between gasps for air.

"Come on Hawk concentrate," I heard Miguel say from behind us, but Eli didn't even look at him.

"Look at me Eli, you can do this. Please just look at me. Eli you have to look at me"

Eli looked at me for a second and it seemed like his breathing was starting to slow, but then there were laughs in the crowd and he lost focus and got frightened again. I saw Brett walk up frantically next to Miguel to see what was going on and he stood there with a saddened look on his face and then looked Miguel dead in the eyes. Miguel nodded at him and without breaking eye contact with him he spoke up

"Demetri, kiss him," Brett said, standing in the front of the crowd.

"What? I-"

"Kiss him," he said more firmly this time.

Everyone standing around had confused looks on their face, but I tried to ignore them and then looked back to Eli. He was so afraid and lost and with every tear that fell from his eyes it made my stomach ache.

I put my hand on the side of his face trying one last time to get him to look at me, but it didn't work. I turned to look at Brett who nodded at me and then I looked back at Hawk. I brushed my thumb across his cheek and hesitantly leaned a little closer. He was looking at the ground so I lifted his chin a little towards me. We made eye contact and all I could see behind his eyes was terror. Before anything could stop me I pulled him in for a kiss and the whole world faded around me. (a/n: this is based on a combination of the stydia locker room kiss and the scalia kiss when scott loses his eye sight so i hoped you liked it !)

[ Hawk's POV ]

Everything around me was chaos, but then I felt Demetri's lips crash into mine and it all went silent. There were no people around us, no music, no noise at all. It was only Demetri and I in this one moment. The only thing I could feel were his soft bold lips pressed against mine. The only thing I could hear was his breath huffing as he kissed me again and again, and then within a couple seconds he pulled away and the only thing I could see were his eyes focused on mine.

I had calmed down a lot and I looked around the room seeing everyone staring at us. I was humiliated, but Demetri had his hand on my thigh and for some reason it was calming me down. The calmness quickly went away though when I heard everyone whispering to each other.

"Ew is Hawk gay?"

"No wonder those two were always so close."

"I thought Hawk hooked up with like every girl he saw?"
