CHAPTER 48
Morning Interruptions and Dodge Balls

Blake's POV

I woke up to meet with a pair of chocolate brown eyes staring at me.

"Hi," Terra said softly, making me smile at her.

"Were you watching me sleep?" I asked with a teasing smirk as her face grew red.

"I-It's just th-that...." She trailed.

"Just what?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Y-You look really adorable when you're asleep," she whispered shyly, blushing even more, and I chuckled.

"We didn't really get to spend a lot of time together last night as we had hoped," I said and she nodded. After the confusion last night, we both just went to bed immediately after Cole left the tent. I was hoping to spend some time with my girlfriend, but unfortunately, that didn't happen.

"Why don't we hang out today?" I asked.

"That would be great." She grinned and I leaned for a kiss, but before our lips could meet, I heard a voice shout my name.

"Why the fuck is he here so early in the morning?" I asked, recognizing the voice as Cole's as Terra chuckled and got up from her sleeping.

She unzipped the tent and Cole immediately walked in, making me roll my eyes.

"Good morning." He grinned at Terra before placing a kiss on her cheek and she giggled, hugging his waist.

"You can get out now," he said blankly to me and I gave him a pointed glare.

"Cole, be nice," Terra warned playfully and he rolled his eyes in response.

"It's our last day here. Want to go see around the place one more time?" Cole asked and Terra nodded excitedly, making my jaw drop to the floor.

"But we were supposed to hang out," I said.

"Oh right, you could come along too!" Terra said happily and I shook my head.

"No, we don't want him ruining the fun," Cole said.

"What's so fun in exploring a forest?" I asked with a bored look.

"It's beautiful, Blake," Terra gushed.

"I don't find it that interesting," I said blankly and she let out a sigh.

"Why don't I go sightseeing with Cole now, and after that, we'll spend the day together. What do you say?" Terra asked, and I mumbled a quick 'okay'.

"Let me go get showered and changed," Terra told Cole before walking out of the tent. Cole gave me a teasing smirk before following out behind her and I let out a sigh.

"So much for spending time with my girlfriend," I mumbled to myself as I got up and rolled my sleeping bag.

I walked back to my tent to see Lynne peacefully sleeping on her mattress. An inevitable smile appeared on my lips before I sat down next to her and slowly caressed her face.

She leaned in closer to my touch before snuggling onto my lap and I smiled as I pushed the hair away from her face.

I pouted my lips and closed my eyes as I leaned in to place a kiss on her cheek.
