𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐘 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋, what does this pink-haired beauty wants from me? good thing my uncle was easy to trick. We just met a night ago, but why does he acts like we're so close or something? He's making me flustered all of the sudden, and now he wanted to know more about me? Is he being serious?!

"I don't want you to get a wrong idea, Raiko-san. I'm doing this because we're going to be a partners soon." he defends.

"Partners?!" I thought.

"Business partners, rather." he paused. "For the new project we're going to do, we need to know each other better for us to have a successful results." he explained, making me feel relieved. I kind of thought that he was being a creep.

"Oh, is that the reason? Okay, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding." I said to him, fuck that was embarrassing, right?

I took a deep breath before answering, and carefully took out my business card. "My name is Raiko Suzuki." I beamed a smile at him, and he did the same.

God, why is his smile so comforting?

"Oh.. Anyway," he paused again—looking like he's trying to remember something.

"Haven't I seen you before?"

"Last night? I think so." I answered, "The so-called new girl at the S, huh? You look different now~" he mischievously said and popped out a smirk.

"Should I take that as a compliment?" I asked him. "Well, you should." he answered and smirked at me, as he took a bite on his food. "Well, thank you then, Cherry~" I responded and then smiled, I won't let my guard down with this man.

Cherry stared at me for a seconds but immediately slightly shook his head and took a deep breath as he straightened his posture, trying to appear confident and collected.

As I caught his gaze, I tilted my head. I couldn't help but break into a mischievous grin. I leaned front in the table, propping my face up with the back of my hand as my elbows rested comfortably on the it's surface.

He didn't give a single care about what I did, he just cleared his throat and sat properly. I took a sigh, "He isn't fighting back? Boring~" I thought.

As we finished our meal, I gathered my belongings and turned to him. "Since we don't have anything pressing to discuss, I'm afraid I must take my leave now. If you have any queries, my contact information is listed on my business card. Until we meet again, Kaoru-san." I stood up and bowed at him.

"Are you free next week?" Cherry suddenly asked. "Why?" I asked back and fixed my posture, "Answering my question with another question? Just answer it, little lady." he answered.

That damned "little lady".

"No, I am not. I have an exams coming up." I deadpanned. He nodded and stood up, "Well then, let's go to beach after your exams." he said.

I looked at him with confusion, "Beach? Why beach?" he just chuckled, "Because we need to discuss some business matters there. It's a perfect location for brainstorming and strategizing."

"But why beach?" I asked again.

"I know a place there where we can get ideas and tips from a professional, they can help us." he answered, "I know it sounds strange, but trust me, it's for a good reason. I'll explain everything when we get there. Okay?" he assured me and beamed a smile.
