Aphrodite's POV

I felt my consciousness was starting to come back. My hands were tired on my back in a chair, and so as my legs. My ears could hear some voices in the background. They weren't speaking in English or any language that I know, or so I thought.

They removed the sack that was covering my eyes, and my eyes squinted at the light hanging loosely above the ceiling. When I managed to gain my sense of sight, I can see two tall figures standing in front of me. One of them approached me and lightly tapped my cheek to wake me up.

"Where am I?" I asked, glaring at the two. They didn't answer me, but the shorter one took his phone and dialled someone. I attempted to remove the ties, but it was tight enough for me not to break them.

Looking around, I noticed that I was in a decent warehouse. Now I wonder who kidnapped me and what their motives are. Then a man in a white suit came forward and looked at me with a smile.

"Ah, look what we have here," he started. "I guess you don't know me anymore. It's been years since you last time seen me," he added.

"Who are you?" I managed to ask. I know I shouldn't act recklessly; that would put me in danger.

"It looks like your parents didn't introduce me. Well then," he gave a wicked grin. "My name's Angelo Perini. Amanda's biological father. Leader of the Serpents. Also, your uncle," his introduction made me frown in confusion.

"Yes, I know why you're confused. Amanda's mother, Rachel, is your father's sister. Therefore that makes you and Amanda cousins.

"I thought she's-"

"Dead?" He chuckled in humour. "No, she's been hiding away from me," he then gave me a wicked grin before sitting to level with my eyes. "She's... somewhere in this building. Of course, I taught her a few lessons for leaving me and not telling me about my child," he added.

"My dear niece, it's in your best interest not to do something crazy, and I want the two of us to get along," he said, lightly patting my cheek. I jerked my head to the side, but he quickly tugged my hair back.

"Why are you doing this? What are you going to get with kidnapping me?" I asked as I groaned in pain.

"Oh, dear," he chuckled darkly. "I want to play a game with someone, and she won't come out until I hold something that she treasures the most," he said. My face contorted in confusion, but it struck me in the last second.

"What does Sam have got to do with you?" I tried to move my head, but he held my jaw in place with one hand.

"Revenge, dear. Not mine, though. The thought of dealing with the Magnolia is what's getting me excited. After all, I was the one who's responsible for the accident. Of course, with the help of her uncle, William," his last statement made my blood boil. I headbutted him, making his nose bleed. Then, I felt an intense sting on my cheek, making me fall sidewards.

"I'm gonna mess you up just a little bit," he said, wiping his bleeding nose. Then he signalled his goons to pick me up. "Since your a bad girl, why don't we punish you," he said with a dark look.

Sam, where are you?

THIRD POV

It has been 36 hours since the call, almost five days since Aphrodite has been abducted. Sam has been pacing back and forth as she listened to the information that she received from Amanda.
