It has been a week since the start of classes. I was watching from the bleachers as Toni was practising with her team on the soccer field. She told me that we'd go home together later. I looked at my phone and remembered what had happened when I called the four ladies 2 days ago.
I was walking back and forth inside my room. Trying to think of answers for every question that they would throw back at me. The phone was ringing, and I decided to FaceTime them.
When one of them picked up, I was immediately greeted by their unhappy faces. All of them were seated on my bed, arms folded. I guess me calling each of them made them stage it, I thought.
"Well, hello there, Samantha," Ally started with a sarcastic tone. "It seems like you forgot to explain everything to us," she said. The three knew not to interrupt Ally. I gulped involuntarily because of the nervousness, but I knew them.
"Oh, for fuck's sake Allysandra. I know all of you are pretending to be angry because I left all of a sudden, and don't start me with all of those unnecessary smacks I received just because of Grandma," I ranted. Every one of them snorted and started laughing. They knew that when I rant, I'm really nervous.
"Oh my! I never thought that I would get to hear you rant like that" Rose laughed as she wiped the tear induced from laughing.
"Oh, shut it!" I told them in annoyance. I waited for them to shut their traps. "I want you to know," I started.
"We already know about your situation Sam," Catherine interrupted me.
"Your grandma told us," Alodia explained. I thanked Grandma in my mind for explaining it to them. I know deep inside it's still hard for me to accept.
"But do you know that the four of you will be studying here too?" I asked them. Their all-smiling face was immediately turned into shock.
"What did you say again?" Allysandra asked.
"I said the four of you will be studying here with me," I said, smiling this time. The four of them looked at each other and squealed in excitement.
"Holy mother of god, is that true?" Rose asked, trying to calm herself down. I nodded as I smiled at them.
"But Mom said that the papers would take some time, so you'll probably be here in a week or so," I said with a sad smile.
"Aww, the little pup misses us already," Catherine cooed. I rolled my eyes, trying to deny that I missed them. Then the others started teasing me too.
"Oh, shut your trap!" I said in annoyance.
"I have a question," Alodia raised her hand. I nodded. "If we're gonna study there, where are we gonna stay for a while?" She asked. Obviously, she would ask that. She's the introvert of the group. I was about to answer, but Ally beat me to it.
"Duh! It's obviously in their mansion" Ally rolled her eyes as she said. "They basically own a house resting on top of the hill. Added to that, it's not just a house. It's a bloody mansion, for Pete's sake!" She exclaimed.
I remembered when Ally saw the aerial view of my house back in LA. It's pretty different here in London because of the design. Here consisted of Victorian design, while the one in LA is more on the modern side.
"How wide is it?" Rose asked.
"Trust me, honey. Wide enough to hide a body, and no one could find it," Ally said with a devilish grin. The other girls widen their eyes at her. Ally really loves to scare them off.
