I woke up feeling that I was already lying on the mattress. How? Never mind. Carter must have brought me inside, but I was somewhat changed into my pajamas when I looked at my clothes.

Well, I guess I'm still grateful that someone changed my clothes into comfier ones. I got off my bed and checked the bedside window. It was still dark outside. I checked the clock at the bedside table, which told me it was still 4:30 AM.

Wow! I slept for, like, what, more or less than 14 hours? I rubbed my face as I got to the bathroom. Washing my face, I decided to have my morning exercise as I remembered there was a gym somewhere in this house. I went to my wardrobe and picked up a sports bra and basketball shorts. Then I wore Nike for my shoes.

Before heading downstairs, I took my wireless earphones, phone, and an extra towel. Past the kitchen, I finally found the gym that I was looking for. It has the complete set of equipment which I am grateful for.

EDM was blaring in my earphones as I started my cardio with the treadmill. After my cardio, I stretched for a while before doing my strength training which consisted of pulling some weights. Looking at my watch, it was already past 5 in the morning. I continued pulling some weights right until the limited reps I was allowed. I stretched once again, not wanting to strain my muscles before cooling down.

I wiped my sweat with my extra towel before going to the kitchen for my morning drink, consisting of a protein shake with fruits. It was only a quick tour since I didn't want my body to cool down immediately. After gulping down a third of the flask, I went back to the gym to finish my workout. Despite the loud music blaring in my ears, I could feel movements around me. It's not that easy, but it really helped me dodge some unwanted situations with my training back in Japan.

I checked my watch, and it was already 6 in the morning. Mom must've been awake by now. I made my way to my room in quiet steps. Now, I should start showering. Stripping from my clothes, I turned the knob of the shower feeling the hot water falling down my body. I didn't take longer than what was necessary and quickly dried myself before wearing my outfit for the day.

I was wearing a white designer shirt and a denim jacket on top for my bottom, skinny jeans, and my white low-cut Air Force 1 for my shoes. Brushing my newly cut hair, I decided to wear my contacts after but still bring my glasses for emergency purposes. I saw my bag sitting on the chair near the study table and grabbed it, placing my phone and wallet in the jacket pocket. Then, I headed downstairs for breakfast.

Maids greeted me while I made my way to the kitchen.

"Well, someone slept like a log last night," Mom greeted me with a grin. She was already sitting on the head table. Food was already on the table. She was holding a newspaper with her left hand while the other was on the coffee cup.

"Were you the one who changed my clothes?" I asked as I took my seat right next to her. She nodded. I quickly thanked her before grabbing pancakes and bacon for breakfast. Then, a maid served me a glass of orange juice.

"Are you ready for your first day at your new school?" She asked, folding the newspaper and placing it beside the plate. I shrugged as I chewed the small slice of pancake that was covered in syrup and butter. Mom squinted her eyes, "Use words, Sam."

"I was supposed to be in class yesterday, and I can't believe I started 1st day of school twice," I said, putting my fork and knife down.

"Yes, I know that," she sighed. She also started eating her breakfast quietly. We talked a little here and there. When I was almost finished, Mom called my attention. "Are you still gonna continue basketball like before?" She asked me, wiping her mouth with the table napkin.
