THIRD POV

A week has passed after Amanda and Sam's official relationship. The two decided to surprise the girls and decided to tell it on the day of the gala. Both of them busied themselves with work during the entire week and haven't seen each other since then. Sam sometimes go out with the girls, who were noticing small changes within her... in a good note. Ally already had a hunch because she could easily read Sam like a book but she wants to know the truth straight from her mouth.

They've arrived two days earlier in London so that the girls could visit their parents. Sam visited once again her grandma in their family estate to tell the news about Amanda. The old woman could definitely see gladness in her eyes as Sam talked about her girlfriend but she knew there was someone has been waiting for her. The little girls who promised each other to live together until they grow old.

She couldn't help but feel sad for the girl who was waiting back in the American soil. After all, she still believe of the red string of faith was already tied to each other. She smiled at her granddaughter as she listened to her stories.

"I'm glad that you're happy with her," she said with a thin smile. "Are you ready for tomorrow's event?" she asked as she poured tea on both of their cups. Sam nodded politely.

"Yes, grandma. I know mom has already done many things for the company. When I'll finish my study in few months, I'll take over the business full time," she said with a firm look. The old woman was satisfied with her answer as she gave her a nod of approval.

"Tell me," she looked at her granddaughter. "Have you already told Amanda everything about your past?" This got Sam's attention. The old woman realized that the two were not yet in a deeper level because she knew Sam doesn't easily tell others about her past. It was like her darkest deepest secret.

"I'll tell her when she arrives," Sam answered.

The plane where Amanda was has just landed. As she got off the plane towards the arrival area, she immediately noticed her girlfriend not from far. Sam was wearing black button down shirt with white sweater over it. A trench coat was covering her tall figure, blue scarf around her neck and her hands were inside it as she looked around for Amanda. When their eyes met, she had a wide smile plastered on her face. Her strides were wide so it didn't took long for her to reach the older woman.

"Hi, love," Sam greeted with a hug which was quickly reciprocated.

"You miss me that much, do you?" Amanda asked with a playful look as she looked at the love of her life. She felt her nod.

"Come, I want you to greet grandma. She wants us to have dinner at a restaurant below the penthouse," Sam said as she took Amanda's bag in one hand and her hand with the other.

Amanda did not know that she has fans in London. Some of them took pictures of their hug and shipped the two. News traveled fast as it spread throughout Amanda's fandom and created a trend. They knew that Amanda rarely shows affection most especially when it comes to her special someone.

Her phone rang for notifications that mostly consisted of her being tagged on some posts. Sam was driving the car when she noticed her girlfriend busy with her phone.

"Something bothering you?" she asked worriedly as she gave Amanda a quick glance.

"I didn't know that I have fans even in this country," Amanda chuckled.

"They're asking me about you. They happened to take a picture of us hugging," she said. Sam looked at her for a while before looking back down the road.

"Were you worried about my privacy being invaded?" Amanda nodded. Sam chuckled a bit. "It's fine but let them wait for a while until we tell the girls. I know they only knew that we're dating but they didn't know about us being official," she said as she took Amanda's hand, kissing her knuckles. The action brought smile to her lips.
